Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Springfield

Had a bad experience at this location....maybe management/marketing....this location doesn't offer an express mobile order. Which is unfortunate because it shouldnt be offered in the app at all if you cant accommodate. We were in a hurry and would have went somewhere else that can handle mobile orders correctly. We were even at the front of the line and we had to wait for everyone in line behind us to pay before we could get our food, that when delivered was incorrect. We did not get our points refunded for a sandwich we didn't receive or the up charge for bacon or cheese that we paid was not refunded. We weren't really given an option. When you call the phone number to get the restaurant, you are connected to customer service who can not do anything except send a message to the store to get a hold of you. The marketing director....called at 730pm and offered two chicken sandwich coupons that expire, granted they dont expire until the end of June but my points would have been back on my account until I wanted to use them again this year..... I hold Chick fil a to a high standard and don't mind paying a bit extra because we get good, friendly service at the North Glenstone location. Very disappointed in the South Glenstone location....just won't go back to this location for a while. Then we can...

We went here for a mother son night. My wife and three boys were doing the really neat and thoughtful activities they set up and enjoying the free dessert they provided while my daughter and I just ate some chicken. It was a pretty enjoyable evening until it was time to go. This is when the employers here shined. As we were trying to leave we got the little kids out of the play set and had them get their shoes. My youngest couldn't find his. I looked for them, my oldest son looked for them, everyone looked for these shoes including other patrons in the play area! Finally we decided this was enough and we are leaving. I decided to ask the manager to call me if they show up after closing. After waiting yipp try to speak with someone the PR person is walking around getting a feel for how the event went so I asked her. She had me hold on a second while she talks to the manager. Keep in mind this place is packed to fire code, not a seat to be had in the facility. The manager comes over to me TAKING TIME FROM OTHER DUTIES I'M SURE SHE NEEDED TO PERFORM AND PHYSICALLY HELPS ME LOOK AGAIN WHILE THE STORE IS PACKED! We did end up finding the shoes. 8-27-2025 Visited this location again, get the whole "Bless You" experience all over again. Then the order taker after I ordered and moving down the line walks up again...to offer to pray for me, asks personal questions etc. Where do you find these kids. Serious. Our relationship is this....I drive up order food. I pay. I get food. I hope, it does not make me sick. Maybe repeat. None of this interaction calls for religion, praying, blessing me, asking personal questions etc. No religion needed. Hand washing Yes! Brown old lettuce NO! Hot chicken sandwich YES! Religion NO! Blessing me NO! Being condensending to me, rude, preaching, etc NO! Save the Gospel, serve hot fries! If you wanta run a church that serves food, hey the world needs soup kitchens. But leave it alone in a fast food line. Not the place, Never the time, unwanted, unwanted, unwanted!
