I'm very unhappy with the service I received today in regards to my iPhone repairs. I bought my iPhone 7 at this best buy less than a year ago - I purchased apple care and was told I had a one year warranty on it. Whenever the guy looked at my phone, he told me the best he could do was send my phone to Kentucky which would take 10 days, and that I was unable to get a loaner phone during this time because I was "unqualified" according to Apple. He said that my specific phone type has a malfunction in which there was absolutely nothing that could be done to fix it - so in 10 days I would be sent back a refurbished phone and there's no guarantee it would even be the same generation as mine. I asked him about my warranty plan which he pushed aside and continued to tell me I could "upgrade" my phone if I didn't want to send it back. He said my $800 cell phone was now of no good use. I was unsatisfied as I KNEW this was incorrect and that I was obligated to get a free replacement of my phone and a loaner phone during the repair time, so I left. I went to simply mac and within 10 minutes of walking through their doors, I was given a free loaner phone and my phone was being sent of to Kentucky to be REPAIRED and I would be receiving my exact phone back in approximately two weeks time. I was told apple has put out an extended warranty on this phone since it has had previous malfunctions and I would get a repair free of charge. My advice to you guys at best buy/geek squad - do not agree to "work" on apple products if you are not up to date with their warranty plans and loaner phone...

At this point, they have no earthly idea what service, if any they are providing. They have a "script" of sorts, with a menu of services they provide, however the catch is they have no clue or hint as to what they are doing. Once something goes wrong and you question them about a solution you are put on the tech slaughter list (figure of speech) and you are stuck in a Que for days in hopes of finding a solution. They have absolutely NO regard for the small business person and how their incompetence may impact your business aka: livelihood. They sure do know to sell services and false promises. I have waited and waited to make an appropriate determination of the actual quality of service provided by this company. Read moreI took my Dell computer in to Best Buy, let me say first, my wife & had purchased that Dell only about 3 months prior to taking it in to the geeks. That computer was not only new but we took extra measures to minimize the way it was used, meaning NO GAMES, nothing that should stress the computer too much. It turns out to be the worst (Over a $1000.00) we've ever spent. So, Geek Squad has now had it over a month and the only way I have any idea where it is, is because i stayed on the phone for 40minutes until i actually got to talk to a human being. I was told the computer was on the way to Kentucky! So, they've had it over a month and it's not even been looked at! Supposedly it's still under warranty, I think they should replace it with a new one, & asked but was told I would have to wait! How long? Well it's been over a month since I last saw our new Dell, I can only imagine how long it's going...
