Golden Chopsticks — Restaurant in Springfield

Me and my wife will never go there again. So the wife goes in orders me food (Kung Pow Shrimp w/ Lo Mein noodles).

They give me the Kung Pow Shrimp w/ rice instead.

Take it back and told them what I wanted and they gave us Shrimp Lo Mein instead. Not Kung Pow Shrimp like I ordered. Go back inside to tell them and they immediately start yelling at us in chinese, they refused to remake my food, they were telling customers behind us that we are idiots and we don't know what we want to eat. So the guy calls his boss, I speak to the boss and the bosswho wasn't even there told me that I ordered shrimp lo mein when I didn't I ordered kung pow shrimp, so therefore I told him I just want my money back and I'll go somewhere else. He refused to remake my food correctly and refused to give me my money back and told me I either take the shrimp lo mein or I pay an extra $10 for the kung pow shrimp that I want....then come to find out the next day they charged us $20 for one order of food that I never received!!! By far the worse service ever and very very rude. I will never eat...

I dont come here often because I do believe it is way more expensive then most places. On a Sunday however they are almost the only chinese place open so I am here. I was going to give it three stars because food I'd still good however I am dropping it to two stars due to rudeness of staff. I came in to order an eat in order for me and my two boys. Halfway through my order the dude stops me to answer phone. No big deal figuring he would ask them to please hold. No. He continued to take that order and 5 more after that while I am still standing there. I finally look at him and say seriously?! He tells me yea. At this point in my head I am thinking your lucky my kids want to look at these stupid fish and want Chinese food. Finally get the order in. It only takes about 5 minutes to get it. That part is great and the food taste great. However when they brought it out to us. The lady kinda threw it on the table and said here and walked away. For the price I just paid for food. A little kindness would be nice. I will definitely think long and hard...

Admittedly I came in late. 8pm, but they don’t close until 9:30pm, so it shouldn’t have affected anything. They had steady business from call in orders picking up while I was waiting on my order. I ordered Hot & Sour soup, Pepper Steak with Onions, and Chicken LoMein. The oks - the hot and sour soup was ok. Probably 3.5 out of 5. I am used to egg and tofu in my hot and sour, but there was almost no egg and zero tofu. Flavor was ok. Pepper Steak had a decent flavor, nice sized pieces of beef. Maybe a 4 out of 5. I would order it again. Now the bad. The chicken lo mein was absolutely horrendous. The noodles were complete mush. Very few veggies, and chicken that was a little more than tiny shreds. Chicken had a strange texture and no taste. All in all, I would throw it away before giving it to a starving person. Cannot recommend that to anyone. May go there again, but it would have to be after I run out of...
