The Villa Pizzeria — Restaurant in Springfield

This location is where an old Domino's pizza was. They don't answer the phone on a regular basis, and tonight, I was told one of their ovens went down, and orders were taking over an hour. The pizza crust is between thin and hand tossed with herbs in the crust, which gives it a good flavor. The sauce is kind of plain but is good with the crust. We got three pizzas and a calzon. All were good, and we tried the cheese sticks they passed out while we were waiting. I would have given them a better rating if wait time was better, but others have complained to me about the same problem before today (because they know I try all the new pizza places). I will try them other time and see if they improve because I did like the pizza but if the service doesn't improve they will lose...

I’m a regular customer typically during the day time. My overall experience of this place is wonderful. However, on Night Shift, they have their own version of how they make the pizza so the consistency has gone completely out the door in that case. Quite disappointing in my opinion Nightshift version of the pizza is heavy cheese, light pepperoni, and sprinkle Parmesan all over the top. Nothing wrong with Parmesan cheese, however on a thin crust pizza when it’s heavy on the cheese, the crust is soggy. Everything was good with ordering and when I got to the store to pick up my order the owner walks in. As I'm watching him pull my pizza out the oven, he makes a rude and obnoxious comment about pineapple on my pizza I paid for like there is something wrong with the customer that likes pineapple on their pizza. This was my first time ever getting pizza from here and now it's the last time I get pizza from here. They could have gained a new customer but I won't be back because of this rude comment making me feel bad and unwelcome because of what I ordered and what I pay for with my hard working money.
