Kimbrough Asian Cuisine Cafe — Restaurant in Springfield

We were promptly greeted by the lovely woman at the register and our order was made fresh and arrived to our table quickly. Our order consisted of the Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew Chicken with Vegetables. Both orders came with rice and we added soft drinks. The flavors and spice levels were very pleasant for both dishes. The total for 2 to dine in was only $27. The portions of food were large and had a great balance of protein and vegetables, the rice serving is also perfect. The cups for their drinks were large enough that we didn’t need a refill throughout our entire meal.

immediately greeted by the owner upon walking in. She asks if I need to see a menu and says if I have any questions please let her know. She is warm and inviting. They have the usual fare of Americanized Chinese dishes but also traditional. I ordered tofu beef and beef bulgogi. I've read a lot of reviews about how weird the interior paint decorating is but I think it's awesome. Very punk rock. Very we would have put our talent into cooking good food at an affordable price not spend thousands of dollars remodeling a restaurant. The portion sizes are really good too especially for the price. I ordered from here to-go today, and this has instantly become our favorite spot for takeout. My fiancé got a medium spice general chicken with egg rolls and I ordered the broccoli beef with spring rolls. My fiancé said that his dish was the perfect medium spice and he ate it so quickly! The broccoli beef is the best I’ve ever had. The broccoli was nice and crunchy and the sauce was absolutely incredible, we plan to save the extra to use in our own cooking. The portions were great. Two entrees and two sides with good portions was less than $30. It has that quaint family restaurant vibe and everyone was super friendly. We will absolutely be regulars at this restaurant and I cannot wait to try...
