Kingdom Coffee — Restaurant in Springfield

The iced London Fog is laughable. $6+ for tea poured out of a pitcher that was so watered down, I ended up with what could have been mistaken for simply as a cup of iced milk. I requested lavender to be added to the drink, but there was no hint of flavor or sweetness. A shame that even Starbucks can find it in themselves to fresh brew a cup of Earl Grey.

Vibes from the folks preparing our drinks were weird too. Whispering and looking back at us, then just handing us drinks without saying anything. It was unsettling. Although it was probably compounded by the immediate disappointment of the drinks for my coworker and I.

A couple shots over ice is my usual go-to and well done, but their iced chai is also good and flavorful. Obviously the atmosphere and decor inside is absolutely lovely. This cafe exceeded my expectations in so many ways. (Maybe it is a little because It was only the second cortado I have had in a year that was served in a proper glass)

The space at Kingdom Coffee is well designed in a beautiful corner space that is filled with light, multiple seating spaces great tables and chairs that fit a variety of visitors and they feature their roaster as a part of the space. The staff is super friendly, accommodating, and skilled. The breakfast burritos are excellent and my son will still be talking about it for a least a few more weeks because he loved the bacon so much :) And of course the espresso is excellent! Champ coffee of the Queen City!! Coffee Boss! I I have lived and traveled all over these here United States of America, I have called California, New York, and Florida home, have traveled and had lots of coffee in 15 more, 8ncl7dinh lots of time in Denver, and my wife is from Chicago so I have also had my share of boutique coffee there as well. Out of all the 70+ or more coffee shops I have pulled up a stool too in this great land this one is t h e finest!
