⭐ 1‑Star Review – Sub Shop (456 W McDaniel St, Springfield, MO 65806)
I visited the Sub Shop on Juneteenth simply to place a to‑go order—my little Shih Tzu puppy by my side—and I was appalled by the blatant discrimination I experienced. Despite being polite and respectful, the staff gave me dismissive, cold treatment that made it clear I wasn’t welcome. Others were served normally, yet I was singled out and made uncomfortable. This isn’t just poor customer service—it felt like a targeted exclusion.
I understand some places have pet policies, but if you can't communicate a rule with respect and empathy, you're failing your community. It seems there needs some updating as $10 was the price for my Nightmare (a meatball variation). I didn't mind because it was going to be good when I unwrapped it at home. Unfortunately, my wife and I were underwhelmed. It was just ok... nothing special as I was anticipating. Like my wife says often in these cases, "I could have made this myself...and...
