Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

I had my first experiance at Moes on Firday January 21rst. My first Burrito was hot the ingredates were fresh everything was great, it was so great that i decided to try them again today. After today's expeiance i won't ever go there again. i was going to order a steak and potato burritto but the potatos looked dry and like then had been sitting out all day. When i asked the staff if they would being any fresh potatoes i was told no because they had already turned off the frier. Disapointed yes but not completely as there were other options. Much to my dismay the rice was just as dry and crusty as the potatoes and i only relaized this when i got home. My sister had ordered a steak burritto and she told me that the steak looked and tasted like it had come out of can. My mom had a chicken Burritto and there was no flavor in it what so ever. i ordered a double beef burritto which i almost instantly regretted ordering when he scoop the cold meat into my burritto but i wanted to give him the benifit of the doubt when i got home my fears were confirmed.. eveyrthing was cold and but burritto tasted like a salt log. i don't know if it was the hard rice that was over seasoned or the beef. All of the five burrittos i ordered were cold and it was jsut a huge disapointment after such a great first experiance. I don't know what happened but it was like i walked into a completley different store... and it is really disapointing.. 50.00 in food that was cold and nearly unedible. I don't usually post reviews or do things like this.. but it was to bad to not say something. Maybe if the manger was there who had been there on friday maybe this experiance would have been better. Sorry but i won't be comming back.. and i will be telling others not to...

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THEY CLOSE THE RESTAURANT 30 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING TIME, AND STOP COOKING PROTEIN ON GRILL 50 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING. THE BLACK YOUNG GIRL WHOM THE HISPANIC MALE WORKER STATED WAS THE MANAGER STATED HE COULD NOT COOK TOFU I REQUESTED BECAUSE SHE WAS CLEANING THE GRILL. SHE PROCEEDS TO INFORM ME THAT HAD I MADE A ONLINE ORDER FOR PICK UO, TOFU WOULD HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE WHICK MADE NO SENSE. SHE HAD HER 2 FAMILY MEMBERS IN THE STORE WHILE LOCKING CUSTOMERS OUT AND TURNING SOME WHO KNOCKED SEVERAL TIMES ON THE DOOR WND INSISTED TO BE SERVICED. THE YOUNG LADIES 2 SISTERS SAT OUTSIDE TURNING PEOPLE ALWAY YELLING ITS CLOSED SND LAUGHING. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO SEE HOW OTHERS WERE BEING TREATED AND HOW THEY JUSTIFIED CLOSING ALMOST AN HOUR EARLY STATING HR APPROVED THIS AS SEVERAL PEOLE DEMANDED SERVICE OUTSIDE. I came here at 6pm after a long stressful day just wanting my favorite meal. I proceeded to order the bowl as I always do, instead of a bowl, the server proceeded to put my food in a clear plastic box that didn’t even look suitable for food. I questioned the box and he told me it was all they had (someone is not doing their job on inventory checking). But whatever I just wanted my fav takeout meal. I continued my order asking for ground beef and chicken and was then told they didn’t have anymore. Like seriously? At 6pm when your still open for another 2 hours?
