We had high hopes for the “newly” opened pub.. We stopped by for dinner at 5:30 Saturday evening. We were told to have a seat anywhere we like. There were 6 tables already taken in the patio area and 4 tables taken inside. We went ahead and sat inside. The place looked nicely decorated and cozy for hanging out. Our server had to clean our table and gave us our menus. We ordered our drinks, when she brought them back she asked if we were ready to order. I was still studying the menu and asked for just another minute or so. I will mention no one else came in during this time. It was still the same tables there. When she returned she said the kitchen is no longer serving food. She said they were too busy from the orders on the patio and we would have to wait an hour or so until the kitchen caught up before we could order! Imagine the shock of looking around a place they say is too busy with only 4 tables being served inside, and 6 outside. Are you kidding me? It’s Saturday and your staff can’t handle 10 tables? We can’t review the food because we didn’t get to order anything. As for the service they wanted to charge us for my soda that I took 2 sips out of and my husband’s beer. We paid for the beer and I refused to pay for a soda I didn’t even get to drink. Terrible! The manager on duty didn’t even come to speak with us on why they couldn’t serve us as we were the only ones in there that hadn’t ordered yet. I guess I should have known what I wanted when I sat down maybe we would have got our order in. Who knows. Disappointing first impression. We do not recommend as they cannot handle more than 10 tables at a time. Absolutely terrible service. Don’t make your young servers have to turn people away, learn to take care of your...
Read moreHad high hopes but were let down in every department. It took us a few minutes to get a table cleaned off for us as employees were just walking past us standing at the door. Our server didn’t even take our drink orders, the owner did and ended up running our drinks. Our server was running around and seemed inexperienced so I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. She FINALLY took our order, then 20 minutes go by when she comes back to tell 3/4 of us that what they ordered was 86’d. She retakes their order and the food comes out after about 45 minutes. Mine was not brought to the table. So they have to start my dish completely over and I receive it 30 minutes later, after everyone else had finished their meal. The server never stopped by for drink refills. Still, I gave her the benefit of the doubt until over an hour goes by of her walking by and ignoring our table when there was only one other table in the restaurant. We had to flag down the owner to drop the checks. They were wrong so we had to wait even longer for them, and still, she never came by to cash us out until we had to flag her down. We felt like we were held hostage and at this point, we were the last table in the restaurant. Benefit of the doubt is completely gone. The food was decent but very overpriced. We won’t be back but I sincerely hope they have improved...
Read moreBummer. We were really pulling for this place. We had a meatball bake, garlicky chicken skewers, onion rings, sweet potato tots and a beer.
The sweet potato tots came out like an appetizer, they were the highlight of the meal. I got the garlicky chicken skewers, the waiter warned me that they are sometimes overdone, but that the owner was cooking them tonight and they would be good, sadly, they were overdone. The chicken was very hard to chew and it didn’t seem like good quality chicken, it wasn’t tender at all. I did mention to the waiter that it was over cooked. My husband got the meatball bake and he said that the meatballs were very hard and overdone as well. I got onion rings to go with my chicken skewers and for $5 it was a very small portion and they weren’t cooked well. A lot of dripping grease and pretty soggy. For $55+ with tip for two people, it left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I...
