MVP Pub — Restaurant in Springfield

Stopped in at the MVP Pub for a bite to eat before a concert. Sandy our server was friendly and hustled providing every diner the best service she could. She was attentive and thoughtful. We had fish and chips and the 4 grilled cheese with bacon and fresh tomato panini. Portions were ample, arrived "nice and hot" and simply delicious. The French fries served with both were the perfect softness with a crunchy exterior. The fish filets were large and tasty. The food is fine, but it's a little odd from your normal pub fare. The buffalo chicken panini was small and not very flavorful, but the poutine fries I subbed in as a side were plentiful. However, the use of fried cheese curds in the dish was a bit of a head scratcher. They were crispy but too salty, and I missed the traditional melty cheese poutine usually has. The prices are also way too expensive for what is offered. They're clearly banking on being the only place around the hotel open for dinner. The staff was friendly.

A note of caution - the hand sanitizer smells disgusting....

I recently visited this establishment. The atmosphere in this place is amazing.
