The food is good when they actually bother to cook our wings well-down as always requested. If you don't like fleshy drums, make certain to check your order before leaving even if you've specified well-done or extra crispy. Additionally, with COVID-19 being prevalent, and the first time that we've ordered Nando's since VA's stay-at-home order went into effect, for some reason two members of their staff who handled my debit card were not wearing gloves (one being the cashier and the other being an employee who retrieved the card from me as I stood in the vestibule). I promptly asked whether they have clorox wipes per the obvious, to which I was told "No". As I readily advised then, I will not be going back. There are also no signs on the exterior to tell customers to wait outside the vestibule if another customer was inside. Twice, the same one tried entering the vestibule with her kid despite my asserting both occasions that she needed to wait outside until I receive my order and exit Absolutely not worth the risk again and provided they find no need to wear gloves, I also will not be ordering from them via Uber Eats. Just astoundingly complacent to to general risk of transmission to...
Read moreI did a 4 star review 1 year ago when the food quality was great. They were not even on Uber Eats or Grubhub at that time. Now they are but I don’t think I’m gonna be ordering from here anymore.
Now 1 year later their food quality has gone so bad that I’ve had to try it out back to back twice within 2 weeks to be sure before I update the review.
Food Quality: Cold, tasteless and cold
The chips (aka fries) always cold. The chicken is also cold. The order doesn’t take any less time to make. They do make it seem like the food was gonna come out of the oven fresh but it’s not.
The chicken also isn’t cooked right. The flavor is missing. Something just isn’t right. Also make sure you really check your order if you order through online or other app because they do not deliver the right order.
The only good thing that’s left about the place is their sauce.
Location:
If you’re wondering where is this place at? It’s behind the Springfield mall on the side of LA Fitness and opposite side of Bed Bath and Beyond.
Bottomline: I don’t...
Read moreFood: First time here and decided to try a little of everything. I ordered the rainbow bowl, 6 peri peri wings (lemon pepper), and a single boneless chicken thigh (mid+ peri peri flavor). Chicken size is on the smaller side for the rainbow bowl, but I'm assuming you will fill up on the rice, tomatoes, and avocado (healthy portion). The chicken wings had now taste or lemon or herb, but I could taste the grill. It took my single boneless thigh 28 minutes to get to the table, they did add a second for my wait. The mid+ flavor was delicious not spicy at all.
Service: Would have been a 1 or 0 if the extra chicken piece wasn't given. I got more vibes that this location cares about to go orders than dine in. I did feel like I could have just walked and grabbed my food at the kitchen how nonchalant everything was.
Atmosphere: The overall ambiance was upbeat with good music. the lights are...
