I love Jcpenny goods especially the professional ones , jeans , shorts , shirts and all bed goods . My order which was on pick up and I did not go for pick up and they kept more than 14 days for pick up . I still was not able to make it because I was doing exorcism sessions because I practiced witchcraft and witchcraft is meaning worshiping the devil even when I was not aware about this fact ( Thanks Jesus - God Son - that he deliver me himself in person from the death of witchcraft ) and also Iam most of the time at the present under psychic attacks so driving the car to approximately more than 10 miles difficult for me . I called Jcpenny .com and they were very generous with me to waive the shipping fees with me and retrieve the order that already cancelled which I have ordered it in the Memorial Day . The customer care representative in Jcpenny .com was very helpful and cooperative when I told her I live alone and I cannot come to pick up the order . I thank Jesus Christ to give me such as experience with Jcpenny .
Last December, I visited the store with 20 minutes left until closing time. I had a recent exchange, so I quickly grabbed my item and headed to the cashier. However, the cashier informed me that she couldnāt process my exchange and directed me to the second floor. While I was on my way up, I heard an announcement indicating that there were only 14 minutes left until the store closed.
When I reached the second-floor checkout, there was no one in line, but a staff member, who I believe was a manager, told me the store was already closed. I explained my situation and asked for help as I had my kids with me. Unfortunately, she refused to assist me. I then noticed a receptionist returning to the register, but when I asked her for help, she also turned me down, despite there still being time before closing.
Frustrated, I left my item there and started to walk out. As I was leaving, the manager turned off all the lights, which scared my kids and our guest, my sister, who had her own young child with her. They were new to the United States and were frightened by the sudden darkness. Because of this experience, my kids now refuse to go to the JCPenney in Springfield Mall; they are too scared.
The second incident occurred on March 25, 2025. I was in the bedding section and saw a promotion sign. I picked up a bedsheet that was marked on sale. When I went to the register, the receptionist, who was busy with another customer, took an exceptionally long time to assist me. When I finally reached the checkout, she informed me that the bedsheet was not on sale despite several identical items on the rack clearly labeled with the sale price.
I was very disappointed with my experiences at JCPenney, and at this point, I donāt want to return. I hope they can improve their service because the store is not what...

Online it states that the order will take up to 4hrs to process and any order placed after 3:00pm will have to be picked up the next day. Let me remind you I placed the order at 1:00pm. I called them at 6:30pm stating that I havenāt received the email letting me know that my order was ready for pickup, the gentleman stated that the order is still processing. WHAT STILL PROCESSING! 5 hours itās still processing itās only a comforter. He then transfer me to the store located in the Springfield Mall. The Manager tells me that I have to pick it up THE NEXT DAY. I told her thatās FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. It supposed to be SAME DAY PICKUP. Now itās 7:00pm. I told her that I was on the way that whoever was in that Department dropped the ball. And someone needs to go on the floor get the comforter and take it to the pickup counter. I arrive itās 8:45pm the Manager I spoke to left for the day without passing along my information to the next employee. Iām at the pickup counter the Associate tells me that the order that I placed was still processing from earlier that day that if I wanted the comforter that I would have to pay for it again in order to take it home and the NEXT DAY the will refund the money I used to pay for it online š¤ NO IM NOT PAYING FOR IT TWICE AND GIVE ME MY COMFORTER. She went on the floor gave me the comforter and stated they will mark it picked up the next day. This was a real inconvenience for me as a customer. Why offer what the competitors are doing SAME DAY PICKUP if you canāt full fill that service to the customer. My order shouldāve been ready for pickup at 5:00pm.
