I am very disappointed with the service I received at this Pandora Store. I came in to return a necklace I bought 6 days ago. I bought the necklace at Tysons, however, the Springfield location is closer to me. I came in and let the associate know that I am returning the necklace because I bought it as a present and my friend did not like the style. I decided to make a return instead of an exchange to save time. The associate looks at the necklace and says "this necklace looks used." I looked at her astonished because I had only bought the necklace 6 days ago and the only time it was touched was by the store associate at Tysons. The store associate insisted that it was used and she went to grab one of their necklaces to compare. She showed me and there was no difference between the two necklaces. She was not able to make a point so she slowly put back the other necklace. She then went to the back room, and talked to another associate. They both came out and she proceeded to say that the store is a franchise and they are unable to make a return, but they could do an exchange. I let them know politely that I was not interested in an exchange. They said that was all they could do for me, and that I still had 30 days to return the necklace at Tysons. I let them know that was fine and left. After that, I looked at the receipt and it clearly states that any item that has been "unused" and bought within 30 days can be exchanged at ANY Pandora store. I am very disappointed because 1. The associated went out of her way to try to prove that the necklace was used, even though the only person who touched it was the employee at Tysons. 2. The store associate went to the back to talk to another associate, and then comes out and 'gangs' up on me to tell me I can't make a return. If the first store associate simply let me know that she couldn't do a return, I would have accepted that. There was no need to go and get someone else involved to assure I did not misbehave. I was never unpolite to her. 3. Both of the store associates gave me incorrect information, if I bought the necklace 6 days ago, and the return policy is within 30 days, how do I have 30 days left to return the necklace? Wouldn't I have 24 days left? There needs to be better management. I was a regular customer at this Pandora location, but I sure will not come back. This experience really does not make me want to buy any other Pandora...
Read moreNever coming back to this place. Worst customer service ever. I came in for Mother’s Day in search for a gift for my mother in law. First time I came in it was fine. One of the managers were really warm and welcoming. I ended up buying a necklace and a bracelet charm as they had a deal if I spent more than 135, I would get a free silver bracelet. I didn’t know my mother in laws bracelet size so I just confirmed that I would be able to come back to exchange it just in case she didn’t fit it. She confirmed and I left happy with my purchase. I went to give my mother in law her gift right after I left the mall and the bracelet and necklace didn’t fit her. I went back the same day about an hour or two later and asked for the bracelet exchange. First girl told me that she would have to check with the store manager and asked me who told me that I could switch out the bracelet. I told her I didn’t know then I proceeded to wait for the store manager to finish up with some other customers. She seemed very irritated about the fact that she had to switch out the bracelet. Then, I asked to switch out the necklace because the necklace ran too small and they only had one size. We switched it out for a ring. We didn’t know her ring size so we asked if we could try on the rings so that we could see. We were trying to decide between a double silver heart ring or a silver and red heart. The store manager then said “not with all that paint on her hands.” I was stunned. My mother in law works as a painter and she works pretty damn hard, so for her to be so rude about it is ridiculous. There was absolutely no reason she had to give her an attitude about it when she could’ve found any other way to say it in a nicer way. She then offered to let her use the ring sizer so that we could figure out what her ring size was and ended up leaving with a size 7. We left and tried on the ring and it was still too big. I am a long time customer and I am very disappointed with their service. I will be reaching out to corporate about this matter. Find yourself another...
Read moreI love Pandora I’ve had multiple bracelets for years. The ladies were nice here. I tried exchanging a bracelet I got last week at a different store (the one with a bar on it) because I couldn’t really open the bracelet to add charms to it, making it too inconvenient to use. The employee wouldn’t take it because the plate where you insert the bar had minor scratches on it. I’ve literally never worn this bracelet. The lady who sold it to me from the other store was the one who opened it and clasped it together and I never added charms. I understand the unused policy it’s to prevent people using them and then returning them, I just don’t understand how they can see such a minor issue with it that could’ve been caused by anything (for example me not being able to use the bar, the entire reason I wanted to exchange) as a reason for me to not exchange it, ESPECIALLY since I got it less than a week ago. I didn’t really like the tone of the employee, when I mentioned it was because I wanted a different clasp because I couldn’t use this one easily she said “you just put the bar through the hole” as if I was dumb. Yes I know how they work. I have long nails that made it hard to grasp the bar and push it through the hole.
Overall feeling frustrated, since this means I’ll just have to keep it and not use it or attempt to resell it at a loss since no one buys them at retail price. For future purchases I might just...
