Parlor Doughnuts — Restaurant in Springfield

Bummed to be having to give this place a bad review because when they first opened, they were awesome, had great donuts, and nice customer service, and i really thought were going to be my new go to. The past 4 visits, however, have really ruined this place for me and my friends. The last visit we ordered almost an hr ahead for a drive thru pick up only to pull up to the window and wait over 10 minutes while watching multiple employees walk by, once the girl came to the window she was not nice or apologetic for the long wait and after telling her we had a pick up she told us it would be at least another 5 minutes, luckily it was about half of that but the donuts we received were raw in the middle and there's really no excuse for that. The time before they forgot my drinks for the order, and the other two bad interactions were with the same young lady who has zero customer service skills, once telling us they don't make a donut that we were literally looking at on there online menu after taking several minutes to talk to her manager she said they could make it, again no apology for pretty much calling us liars and being rude. The last interaction with her though sealed the deal, I waited for 10 minutes at there drive thru again after placing an order well in advance (almost an hr ahead) I got sick of waiting so I went in only to have the same girl walk out from the back with her head phones in(my guess to a why they don't hear there drive thru) again having no costumer service skills no sorry for the wait or sorry you have to come inside just a flat "are you the online order" and went to get my donuts that were sitting on the drive thru window, you could hear others working in the back doing dishes so I don't understand how a place with more than 1 staff member and zero customers at the time can still make there customers jump through so many hoops just to get there order. This place has so much potential to be a great establishment it's sad to see how they've let these young ladies who are clearly not trained ruin it. Best donuts ever! Now after trying this place after it’s been in business a while, it is spectacular. I have to have the gluten free ones and they were delicious. I also had the breakfast tacos on corn tortillas. Food was great and so was the customer service.

Previous review: Maybe try this place when they have been open for a few months and figure out all of the kinks. The donut itself is great, however whoever is the manager is not running this place like the one in Branson. I waited fifteen minutes for two donuts because they are making them in small batches and running out. They are letting people in line ahead of you, order donuts that are out of, but say they will make them. The only make one at a time, but not a whole tray. They only make that customer what they need. This increases the wait time. I only wanted two donuts and settled for ones that were already made. They also only had one register going, when they had 3 girls taking donut orders which did not make sense. I went in a Monday morning at 11am. My wife and I came in from out of town and we're really excited to try this place. It looked like it was such a cute place with delicious food. We walked in and really liked the atmosphere and all of the croissant Donuts looked so delicious it took us forever to decide on which ones we wanted to try. The guy was very patient with us and tried to help us decide. We got the peanut butter and chocolate and also the maple bacon. Unfortunately they did not meet expectations. They were delicious don't get me wrong but they definitely need more toppings to make them truly great. The croissant was big and buttery but did have a little bit too much of an oily taste to it. The maple bacon had a good flavor but did not have near enough bacon. We both only had two or three bites that actually had bacon in the bite and those tasted delicious but the other bites just tasted like a plain croissant. They're definitely needs to be more bacon so you get some with every bite or at least most bites. The chocolate peanut butter one did not have near enough peanut butter and we could barely even taste it.
