Pease's Candy — Restaurant in Springfield

The lady with the white hair was perfectly nice and welcoming. My problem was with the other lady with glasses and brown hair. We went in the store a bit before it closed and we were checking out before closing still. I wanted to use change to pay for less than $4 worth of candy. The lady said that she didn’t want to recount the drawer or count my change or something but I know she wouldn’t have had to recount the drawer because I work in a similar business. And I didn’t have a card to use. I will never ever return to this place of business again!!! They were very racist and unwelcoming. There was an elderly lady at the front sorting through candy. No one ever greeted us so I asked if she worked here she didn’t bother to even look up and said “yes, I work here why?” “What do you want?” I said I feel like this is an unpleasant atmosphere and I don’t want any help she then said “bye” and not once did she look up besides when we walked in and she spotted faces of color!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!! I wouldn’t even trust eating the candy with hateful hearts being involved!! God...

I went there for some dark chocolate orange creams my neighbor lady likes them a sampled one first to make sure that's what I was looking for I think they're the only place around that has orange cream that really tastes like orange and raspberry it tastes like raspberry everybody else has the coloring down but not the flavor the woman that waited on me was very pleasant and helpful and it was a pleasure doing...
