Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Springfield

Had the opportunity to try the Coney dogs at the new local Skyline restaurant. The staff was very welcoming when we walked on. Everything is prepared right in front of you and service is quick and engaging. The restaurant is very clean even considering it is new it still looked more clean. The food arrived fairly quick and was hot. I got the conveys without cheese. They were pretty good. My only turn off was how squishy the buns were. They steam the buns and with the moisture of the Coney sauce the bread of the bun gets pretty wet. My wife couldn't stomach it as she is all about texture so she didn't eat the buns. I muscled through. I would get them again. I was worried about being turned off by the cinnamon flavor I had trying the spaghetti once before in Dayton but I really didn't get turned off this time. I enjoyed them. I want to try a burrito too. Good...

I have never been to Skyline Chili as I just moved to Ohio and I'm not a big chili fan, however they opened a new location so I decided to try the chili cheese fries. The customer service was amazing because of the young man that took my order. After receiving my order to go and driving the 20 minutes back home getting in and settling down to eat I opened my box... Disappointed and actually mad was my reaction. I was going to go back a demand a refund but didn't want to waste 40 more minutes of my time. I paid $7.59 for soggy (medium sized) fries soaked in grease and cheese that I just threw away. I will not be going back to Skyline Chili.... I wish I could post a picture, it is absolutely disgusting in both presentation and taste.... If I could give negative stars I would!!!! Very disgusted first-time...

This was your very 1st day opening in Spfld Ohio, the drive thru lane was very long which is what we expected, so we dined inside we only had to wait 3 mins to get a seat , our sever was Kate which came from Cincinnati to help w your grand opening. She was so helpful & cheerful we felt right @ home we ordered immediately since we eat there occasionally in Dayton oh, our drinks came Pronto, we got to set under the picture of Snyder Park which is a local treasure for Springfielders ,the restaurant was beautifully designed & spacious w a fireplace ,( look out panera) everything was so clean no worries about the forlorn covid , over all I would give it 5 stars for a fast food rest..... thank you so much for coming to Springfield...
