I’m not being dramatic—this dinner ruined every other meal for me, forever. Plate after plate came, and I was just OBSESSED. I tried everything on the new Fall Menu at The Order in Springfield, and I have a LOT to say. First things first: if you’ve never been to The Order, they’re known for a semi-upscale dining experience with a twist—conceptual menus and unique cocktails. I’ve had meals here before that used ingredients I’d only ever SEEN on the cooking channel. You know what I mean! They started us out with a ton of incredible seasonal cocktails. This Vandi-ROAR to start—which actually benefits the athletics department over at Missouri State University. But just LOOK at how gorgeous it was. The tart cherry in it? INCREDIBLE. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but I was a huge fan of the Apple Supernova. Anything that pretty deserves a video of its own! The chefs came out to describe every single dish, and I was SO ready to eat. Your girl was EXCITED. The new bread service was such a nice touch. Each bread had its own butter, which I truly loved. The jalapeño focaccia was delicious! The cornbread wasn’t my favorite, but it may be yours—so don’t miss either. These scallops with a lemon–brown butter vinaigrette were fantastic. The sauce reminded me of babaganoush, but BETTER. Definitely my number two meal of the night. This agnolotti pasta was conceptually—from start to finish—a winner. Carrot dough, goat cheese and black garlic filling, hazelnut cream, fennel. The Order does an incredible job of reducing food waste. The whole garden was here, and I was OBSESSED. The smoked carrots were on a bed of whipped ricotta, carrot gel, pesto, arugula, and crushed pine nuts. So earthy. So good. Now, I’ve never had fried walleye before, so I didn’t know what to expect—but I fell in love. The warm potato salad blew me away, and the walleye was so crisp but also sooo smooth. The last entrée was a 21-day dry-aged KC strip with pasillón “frites.” Guys… these frites (or fries) are something I’ve never had before. Wow. Just wow. I could have eaten twenty. All steaks are not made equal, and this one may be KING. For dessert, I had the most elevated s’more I’ve probably ever had. Half-baked brownie, perfectly smoky marshmallow—this was a 10/10 if I’ve ever seen one! #creatorsearchinsights #foodie #dinner #springfieldmo #eating

Their menu is short and straight to the point offering brunch on the weekends! So many great options to choose from! We started off with coffee and bottomless mimosas. They gave us 3 options for the juice: orange, pineapple and grapefruit. We went with pineapple and orange, both delicious. I was craving poached eggs so I ordered the Shakahuka, which came with 2 poached eggs, focaccia, crême fraiche, and radish micro greens. The eggs were poached to perfection!! My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, as well as brioche French toast to share. The French toast came with blueberries, walnut crumble, spiced maple syrup, and was topped with candied orange slices. The presentations of each dish deserved a review of their own! Everything tasted absolutely amazing and flavorful that our plates were sparkling clean by the time we were done. Their service was fast and the staff friendly and attentive. You couldn't even tell you were in the Vantage hotel, half way through our meal we even had some live music playing! Overall an absolutely fantastic experience, definitely a must for brunch in Springfield!

Intended to take my mom to brunch at another restaurant for her birthday. While I'm sure said restaurant is wonderful, I don't enjoy waiting 40 minutes before being seated. That's how we ended up across the street having a fabulous brunch at The Order and completely enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was modern and quiet. It was slightly chilly since it was late April, and we were near the entrance. We could hear someone singing in the lobby as we waited for our meal. Mom and I have similar tastes, so we both ordered the Classic Benedict. The spring salad was lightly dressed and tasted fresh. The potatoes were crisp but tender inside. But that hollandaise sauce over a perfectly poached egg, quality sliced ham, and english muffin was rich and velvety! Both of us took half home. The price point was better than I expected at the trendy downtown hotel. Our meal was worth every penny and more. Wish I had more reasons to go. Highly recommend!

We have walked by the place many times and it looked like a cozy atmosphere with an interesting menu. The place was impeccably clean inside and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress knew the menu inside and out and was very patient and detailed when answering our questions. As far as the food goes I will start out by saying that if you are looking for a portion size that is in line with the price you pay this probably isn't the place for you. The portions are average to small in size for the price paid. However, the food is AMAZING. The menu is very small and it's obvious the cooks take a great deal of pride in the food they serve. I ordered the Braised Pork Belly (Circle B Ranch pork belly with apple mashed potato, tri-color carrots, and local persimmon jam). Everything in this dish is a 10/10. Great flavor but the portion of meat was just way too small. Most of what was served was just fat. There were plenty of potatoes and carrots though. My husband ordered Cast Iron Crispy Skin Chicken (Roasted garlic panisse and bacon vinegar wilted greens). He got more meat in his dish but the portion was still very small. The panisse and wilted greens were awesome and the chicken had amazing texture and flavor. He also got a side of grilled asparagus which were also good but again the portion was worth maybe 2/3 to 3/4 of what we were charged. We also ordered the Hurts Donut Bread Pudding (Served with Askinosie chocolate ganache and salted caramel). This portion was quite large and is big enough to share. It was so good I would go back there just to order this one item. One of the best dessserts I have ever had. Bottom line is if you want to try something new and high end that is going to impress you in appearance and quality I say go for it. The only thing that prevents me from giving this place a full 5 stars is the...

The Order has given us the best Easter Brunch/Lunch since my husband & I started the traditional Easter splurge about 6 years ago. Their buffet was Incredible!! I even complimented them in person on how well it was organized & how fantastic the food tasted. Let me add, the flavorful choices offered were still served just as yummy for the late crowd as was served for the early crowd. A BIG thank you to all of the staff who seemed to be happy to be there & we're kind to everyone that I was witness too. My only complaint, which isn't something I typically complain about because I understand completely why it's done & unfortunate that they have to do it sometimes, but the gratuity that was immediately added to the check. In all honesty, you saved us money because we would have tipped our server more. Kudos to him (I forget his name), but he & the other guys who took care of us in the very back room at 1pm on Easter Sunday...thank you for not making us feel like we were in the back forty. I was initially nervous about being seated way back there but the servers were great!! We were never without someone back there taking care of us in some capacity. A job well done to all on Easter Sunday!!! We...

The Order in Hotel V is a great restaurant destination, particularly for those out on a date. It has excellent fresh food with knowledgeable staff. The ingredients are locally sourced and seasonal, so the menu changes often. You can find something healthy like something off their greens menu, or you can indulge with their cashew chicken skewers or fries with cheese gravy. The room is lovely and feels very upscale, even though you are in a Hotel. Make sure you take a selfie in the bathroom downstairs too; oddly enough, the bathrooms are kind of local famous for their fantastic selfie lights. ;) It’s fun watching the bartenders work their magic making cocktails. Do expect that your cocktail will take a little longer to make than you might normally expect. Don’t worry – it’s worth the wait. The bar staff make great whiskey cocktails and the bar menu changes frequently. They also have an excellent wine list. The prices are a little high for some, but reasonable given the amount of work that goes into the food and drinks and the quality of the food as well. The prices are in line with restaurants in larger markets though. It’s definitely...
