Decided to try this place after maybe 15 years of not coming here due to finding out how dirty their kitchen was, including rodent droppings. Straight from a repair person that had to work on their soda dispensing equipment. We were immediately seated by a young lady that appeared to want to be anywhere else. No greeting, just asked how many then took off, tossed a couple menus on a table and away she went. Waited a full 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, ask for our drink order, and another 5 before we were brought chips and salsa. Drinks came quickly, but not complete. Another 5 minutes before she brought what she had forgotten. Came back a few minutes later and took our food order, which was very simple....a chicken fajita salad and a chicken and steak fajita salad...oh, and a side of white cheese sauce. Shortly after, a runner brought our salads, dropped them and took off. I could see shrimp in mine, and my husband saw only chicken in his, so we traded, though he hadn't ordered Texas style, he loves it, so he kept it. The salad I had was actually mostly pieces of steak with a couple pieces of chicken, and I can't eat beef (medical dietary restrictions) so I stopped our waitress, who had not come by to check on us, and explained what happened. She apologized, said she would take care of it, and 30 minutes later, when my husband was finished with his meal, I still did not have mine. There were two other tables, just near us, that also had mistakes and sent their order back. One ended up just canceling as it was taking so long. I stopped our waitress, who had just flown by and said my salad was coming, and told her if it was ready now, to please box it up, or just take it off the bill if it wasn't. I was brought a to go container pretty quickly. She also was to bring a container for the cheese sauce I had ordered but was just sitting on the table, cold, waiting for my salad. Never got that, but by this time, I started feeling unwell and needed to leave. Didn't make it home, hubby had to pull over several times, and I was horribly ill. If my husband hadn't been sharing a margarita and eaten the same chips and salsa, I would have believed that someone put something in the drink, or salsa, but he didn't get sick at all. We will never, ever return to this place again!! Everything about it was awful (our waitress was very nice, but perhaps too many tables for even acceptable service, much less quality service). There are MANY other places, serving quality Mexican cuisine, with good service that are happy to have you as a customer, to ever return to a...

The service was pretty bad by my father's standards and only acceptable by mine. The host had his back to me and was talking with the cashier when I walked in. When he saw me he turned back around to finish what he was saying to her to ask "How many?" I answered, he set the menu on a table and walked back to the cashier without another word. Several minutes passed when someone whisked by by the table leaving chips and salsa. I barely saw them, and he/she did not speak. Finally, the server came over. He looked like a manager. He was friendly enough, but after he took my order and brought my drinks, I didn't see him until I was almost finished eating. Someone else had come out of the kitchen with my food, and was gone before I could say "Thank you!" The food itself was varied from bad to almost good. The tortillas were not warm when they landed on the table wrapped in foil. People are right about the chips and salsa being substandard. The rice and beans were both bland. Whoever said in their reviews that this is authentic Mexican food has a very poor opinion of what Authentic Mexican food is, and has likely never had it. I liked the flavor of the fajita meat, and the quantity was borderline generous, but it seemed overcooked not burnt, just not tender. I also liked that there weren't too many vegetables. The appearance of the restaurant was clean and interesting with painted walls and neon lights. It was very noisy, however; despite the lack of customers. The music was horrible as if 2 songs were playing at equal volume at the same time. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but I feel blessed to live in a city where every Mexican restaurant is better than this. If it means charging a little extra, they need to get away from the generic chips, salsa,, rice, beans, and other canned ingredients. If the owner is reading this, have your employees try these phrases.
"Welcome!" "Is this booth okay or would you prefer a table?" "Is this your first time dining with us?" "Let me know if you have any questions about the menu." "How does your food look?" "Is there anything else I can get for you?" (When the food is delivered not at the end of the meal) "Is everything okay? Are you enjoying your meal?" "Thank you for choosing us. We hope to see you...

I stopped by July 5th and they were closed. So I tried again July 6th. They were opened. I asked what happened on Tuesday was told that the chefs were to hung over to work so they had to close the restaurant.
I sat down and a male server asked me what I wanted to drink. I told him and then a female server brought me my drink order and took my food order. That was the last time I saw her. NO ONE stopped by to see if I needed anything.
After I finished eating I had to flag down a hostess to get my check. She came back and said that my server got busy and she was sorry. I told the hostess to tell the server I didn't accept her apology and because of her bad service was the reason I wasn't leaving a tip. At the time my food was delivered the restaurant was not busy enough to stop by. I also saw her chatting with her coworkers by the drink station.
I left the ladies who brought me my chips, even though I had been seated 10 minutes before I...
