The mall itself is large and cool, but the people running the place were RUDE, ruining the experience for us. My sister and I walked in at 4:55 pm and immediately got the stink eye. I acknowledged that we realize they close at 5:30 pm and we will watch the time, to which the lady said, “we lock the doors at 5:30!” I was watching the time carefully, and at 5:15 the man shut the lights off in the section where I was shopping! He told my sister the electric bill was very expensive and he didn’t realize I was there (but didn’t turn them on). We were each planning to buy something, but left empty handed at this point. They were locking the doors and leaving by 5:18 - get this - with those expensive lights ON!
Like I said, the place itself had potential to be great. It had multiple floors of booths and a variety of things. We will probably come back and give it another chance someday. I imagine the people working were booth owners obliged to take shifts, so you might only get these two particular (and cranky) people once in a while. But the 3/4/24 afternoon employees did not have the business’s best interest in mind, and if I saw them again I’d turn around and try...

Read moreMy wife and I came to Springfield for some legal stuffs. I love collecting antiques and vintage items so I made sure we stopped by. Lots of beautiful pieces and things I had never seen before. But, I am of the opinion that some things are better off in museums than sold to random people. There were lots of racist charicatures/mammy depictions, plus WW3 and Nazi memorabilia. Mammy dolls, swastika pins, photos of Nazis in concentration camps, you name it… There was a literal WW3 uniform with blood on it. I just felt pretty uncomfortable with all that being there. I wish it had been donated to Holocaust and African American history museums… But if you’re able to look past that, theres 3 floors of fun waiting to be explored. My review would be 5 stars had it not been for all the aforementioned racist and genocidal stuff on sale… but I...
