Jimmy John's — Restaurant in St. Charles

This is the worst restaurant to order from, I was ordering once or twice or even more a week from them until today. I placed an order at 7pm, for a sándwich combo. It never arrived, I called them at 7:40 and Mike answer the phone he stated he was the assistan manager, he was very rude, instead of apoligizing for the long wait, he was very rude and just said the sandwhich was out to be delivered. So I patiently waited for 15 more minutes at 7:55pm I called them again he said he could do anything I asked for an update, he was very rude and just said they were busy. So I just hang off the phone and kept on waiting (forgot to mention I was on my lunch break). He decides to cancel my order, even when I told him it was my lunch break, He did not even asked if I wanted to cancel my order. Didnt even bother to tell me he was going to cancel my order until I got an email from them stating my order was cancel. So here I am reviewing the restaurant at work all hungry. I ordered sandwiches for my bridal party to have a quick snack after the ceremony from this location and I will never order here again. The ordering process was frustrating as it seemed like I wasn't being listened to while ordering. I had to continue to repeat what I wanted. It was also ten dollars to deliver across the street and then I was asked to tip the driver on top of that. I don't mind paying for delivery because it's a service, but it was not even that far to drive. Then when the wedding day actually came, the order was wrong, which was upsetting because I had vegetarians in my bridal party who couldn't eat a sandwich because they did not deliver what they were supposed to deliver. Worst Jimmy John's experience ever and I order and eat sandwiches from Jimmy...

There was an employee, Griffin Obrien, (just a heads up if you meet him) who was cleaning the kitchen with gloves on since it is dirty. With these dirty gloves he proceeds to make my order touching all of the food with dirty gloves. After I point out that he had used the dirty gloves to make my food and how I was uncomfortable with the fact that he used the dirty gloves he proceeds to use an attitude with me. Saying how he was “only using the top of the broom” which has been touched by multiple other people. He then said, “I can’t make your sandwich because we have no bread. I can only refund your money” I got my refund and left. This experience will forever change how I view this establishment and I most likely will not return to this...
