I am writing this review because my family owns a business within walking distance to this location. I eat at this location because it is convenient and Chick fil a is great. I always order a number 8 Grilled Chicken Club without tomatoes or the bun. It is always put in a bowl. With a fork and knife. The question is always asked if I want any sauces. I have a gluten allergy and this works best for me. I order the same sandwich everywhere at all chick fil a's across the U.S. I don't have the issue EVER that I had yesterday. Sometimes, they don't remember to leave the tomato of but that isn't that big of a deal. I can take it off. Yesterday, I stopped here and asked for the same thing that I always do. When I got to my office I opened the bag and took the food out. I did get asked if I wanted sauces and they even gave me extra. There was a bun with a piece of grilled chicken in a bowl. No lettuce, no bacon, no cheese. I went back because I literally cannot eat the bread. Chick fil a offers a gluten free bun and I really appreciate that but I don't like them so I order it another way. The training manager was very nice, helpful, and was trying to make things right for me. After he put in a replacement order for me another manager came out and asked me how I want my sandwich. I told her I just wanted the chicken, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. They also kept saying something about lettuce wrapped and I just kept saying yes because I figured that would make things easier for them to understand. I get my replacement sandwich and come back to my office. Open the bag and take out the bowl. This time it is just lettuce and grilled chicken. I called the manager and told him what was going on. He then said that every franchise is different. That when a person says no bun and lettuce wrap something. It did not make sense what he was saying. Which I get that can happen but it doesn't at any other chick fil a that I go to. The manager did offer to make me another sandwich and also asked what he could do to make the situation better. I told him there was nothing at this moment because I could not come back. There also seemed to be a bit of an attitude with the people working the drive through and I mentioned that to him also. Today I went back because I thought it would be good to start fresh. I ordered the same thing. It was almost right. A number 8 without a bun. Everything was there even the bacon, cheese, and lettuce. I even got the tomatoes that I asked to be left off. The training manager was working the drive through and was very nice to me today as he was yesterday. For the love of Pete in the future, please if a customer asks for a number 8 without the bun or the tomato don't start making stuff up. It's really not that complicated. Also, it was a huge waste of everyone's time. The number 8 is more expensive so I feel like I didn't get my moneys worth. I was charged for something I didn't get. I wrote this review because I will need to eat there again and just want it to be what I ordered and...

This is actually my first and only review I've ever done, but this was such a bad experience, and I thought others looking to visit the Saint Charles, Il. location should be aware before they decide to visit.
My family and I visited here because it was close to somewhere we were going, and it was a new Chick-fil-A that we haven't visited yet. The restaurant is gorgeous, but that's about it! From the moment we entered, there was a strange feeling with how the employees interacted with the customers....NO SMILES, NO IT'S MY PLEASURE...JUST EMPTY STARES! Very strange experience for those who frequent Chick-fil-A. It's totally not the norm!
We went to find a table, but not one table in the restaurant was clean. The floors were also dirty and filled with unswept food. We had to clean off our own table.
When we left about an hour later, some young girls were walking around trying to find a clean table to sit at, but there weren't any. We offered them ours that we cleaned off. This was a first for us at a Chick-fil-A. Any Chick-fil-A we've ever visited, someone is always sweeping the floors and cleaning tables. They always smile and ask if there's anything they can help us with. NOT HERE!
Before we left, I decided to use the Ladies' room and when I opened the door, I was shocked!!! Paper towels piled so high that they were sticking out above the hole of the trash can 10 inches or so. There was toilet paper all over the floor, and the toilet basins were filthy!!! I should've taken pictures, but I decided to go straight to the manager to let him know about everything, thinking he would go see for himself. That was a waste of time and didn't happen because he was too busy standing there flirting with some girl he knew. The feedback went in one ear and out the other. NO APOLOGIES! NOTHING!
We didn't understand how there were so many employees but nobody was maintaining the restaurant for their customers. It seemed they were too busy chatting and goofing around amongst themselves.
Also... Our oder was not taken properly. We gave specific instructions on what to add and leave off and to make sure that our food was made fresh and hot. That didn't happen! They also forgot to give us our sauces.
I have tried calling the restaurant to speak with the owner Julian Good personally on multiple occasions to address our experience and concerns. I have also contacted Corporate four different times over the last month without one response from Mr. Good or corporate to address our experience or concerns.
Don't be fooled when a Chick-fil-A employee tells you to contact CHICK-FIL-A CARES to address any issues because by the lack of response, it truly appears that Chick-fil-A DOES NOT CARE!!!
This whole experience at this restaurant as well with the corporate office has really been disappointing and has raised questions on whether we want to continue eating at any Chick-fil-A because it's clear we aren't considered valued customers to them.
I hope anyone reading this has a better experience...
Read moreWell, I’ve had my share of strange dining experiences, but nothing quite compares to what happened during my recent visit to Chick-fil-A. Let me set the scene: I was on a lunch break, craving the classic Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich with some waffle fries. The service was typical fast-food efficiency, and the restaurant had that signature clean, friendly vibe.
However, my experience took a surprising (and very embarrassing) turn. After ordering my food, I went to use the bathroom. It’s a public restroom, right? Well, let’s just say I got too comfortable and made some really bad decisions. I won’t go into the details, but before I knew it, an employee knocked on the door, saying something along the lines of "We’ve had a complaint." I guess the sound of my... antics didn’t go unnoticed.
A few awkward moments later, I was escorted out of the restroom and, ultimately, out of the restaurant by two employees: Robert and Aiden. Yes, I was getting kicked out—totally mortified and, honestly, just trying to disappear into the floor.
But here’s where things take a wild turn. Instead of a stern, unforgiving exit, Robert and Aiden did something that I honestly wasn’t expecting. They gave me free food. Yes, they apologized for the incident and handed me a free meal voucher, saying they appreciated my understanding of the situation. In an odd way, it felt like I’d just been given a second chance (even though I knew I didn't deserve it).
This may be the most bizarre review I’ll ever write, but I have to commend Chick-fil-A for how Robert and Aiden handled the situation. The kindness they showed in what could have been an uncomfortable interaction was unexpected and honestly appreciated.
Now, let's talk about the food. The chicken sandwich was as good as always—juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The waffle fries, of course, were crispy and delicious. Even though I left the restaurant a little red-faced, I can’t deny that Chick-fil-A is still doing something right with their food and customer service.
So, while my visit was a bit of a disaster in terms of personal behavior, the employees at this Chick-fil-A definitely showed grace and went above and beyond. Kudos to Robert and Aiden for turning an embarrassing moment into something slightly less awkward (and, in the end, free food).
Would I go back? Absolutely. But maybe I’ll leave the "bathroom activities" to a more private...
