The food is subpar at best. We chose to come here after our annual trip to the Scarecrow Fest. There were 11 of us, and luckily they were not busy, because otherwise this place would not be able to fit big parties. When we walked in they were definitely not busy, but the waitresses looked at us like we were an annoyance. I think one of them said something along the lines of, “I guess we will have to move three tables together.” They also seems to be arguing in front of us about which one was going to take our table. So right away I didn’t feel welcomed. We ordered pitchers of pop, and got a refill. We thought that would be easier than always sending the server to get us refills, but we should have just gotten one glass. She charged us for the refill on the pitchers. But not in the individual cups. So yeah, if you go don’t get a pitcher for the table. The appetizers were ok. The sampler tasted like microwaved food but decent microwaved food? I have head much better cheesy garlic bread. The bruschetta was good. The bruschetta is probably the best thing we ordered. It is the only thing we tried that I would order again. The wings, not bad but not great. They were ok. The pizza was definitely not my favorite. First of all it looked like it had been sitting in the window for awhile before it was brought to us. It wasn’t that hot and the top of the pizza looked dried out. It tasted alright, but again it was just ok. It took forever to get refills, we had to flag the server down. Then we were trying to go, so we asked for boxes. She much have forgotten because she didn’t bring us the boxes, we just sat there watching her chat with the bartenders while waiting for her to get our boxes. Finally we flagged her down so we could ask again.. I mean everything was mediocre. The server wasn’t mean, just inattentive. And the food was eh? Eh? Read moreI ordereda pizza a day sampler basket online. I paid online and it said ready in 30 min. I arrived 40 min later and waited for the bartender to finish complaining to everyone at the bar how the guy last night didn't wash the floors as she picked up the gross bar mat on the floor to show everyone it had not been completed. Then she went to the one table and took their order, came back and put it In the computer all while puffing on her vape and then finally acknowledged my presence. The food still wasn't ready. I went outside to turn my car off and as I came back in i saw what I assume was a manager coming in because he grabbed two plastic cups out of the public garbage can on the street and brought them inside and put them in the bus tub with other dirty dishes. ( really? Cut your losses maybe..) I almost turned around but I was hungry. The girl from before, never having washed her hands, handed me my food...at least it's wrapped and hopefully the kitchen staff is more cleanly but years in the business has proven opposite. The pizza was good. I've had it before. The sampler was ok. 2 out of 5. I ordered extra marinara thankfully because there were NO other sauces, not even ranch, and the two marinara lids melted with the hot food causing them to leak everywhere. I m not saying it's bad, but only because this seems to he the new I dusty norm. We used to try to impress all our guests when I was in the industry, especially the new ones. Make them want to be there. So much potential for this place to be not only THE go to for saint Charles but for the northwest suburbs. It's a great location with a beautiful bar and dining area and a bar upstairs too ( it was closed ) what a shame. If I'm in search of pizza while in town maybe here but maybe someplace else too.

My family & I walked in around 6:30pm to find that it was "seat yourself", they needed a host/hostess to handle the amount of people in the restaurant. We found a dirty table upstairs which the busboy quickly cleared for us. Side note: the busboy was the only one we saw who was hustling and working hard, all while having a smile on his face. Our waitress was friendly but couldn't seem to get us the place settings we needed, took a long time with drinks, etc. We ordered a pizza for three of us and a hamburger for our son who has a dairy allergy. Our pizza came out first, followed by a 15-20 minute wait for my son's burger. Our waitress apologized and said she'd talk to the manager about taking something off the bill. After my son finished (the rest of us had finished our dinner 10-15 minutes earlier) our waitress brought us the check for the entire meal with no discount or compensation. I asked her if her manager had declined to make any changes to the bill, to which she replied "oh, would you still like me to talk to him?" The manager came over to talk to us and said he'd only take off half the price of the burger since my son had eaten it. I explained that he waited almost 20 minutes while the rest of us had our pizza. He placed blame on the kitchen staff and said he'd talk to them. I also raised the issue of our waitress not staying on top of things and the fact that she didn't talk to him about the burger before bringing us our bill.
