There were 5 of us for lunch and everyone loved their food! The noise was louder than I usually like but it was in the middle of the lunch crowd and, after we were seated, I never saw empty tables. We could still talk and hear each other though, at our corner table near the windows. I am always happy to see independent restaurants full of people enjoying themselves.
The service was very good and I wish I could remember our server's name. She was friendly, attentive and never acted rushed in spite of the full tables. We asked for separate checks but it wasn't their policy; however, she offered to give us an itemized check and was willing to take individual credit cards for what we said was owed. That sounded like a lot of extra work for her so we all paid cash.
We thought the menu of sandwiches, soups, salads and more were well priced; desserts and beverages seemed in line with other restaurants. All 5 of us can highly recommend this cafe.

Read moreI was really excited to be in the area recently when Town House Cafe was open. I stopped in around 10:00 with a friend for lunch not realizing that their lunch doesn’t start until 11:00. After looking over the breakfast menu we decided to just spend some time in the connecting bookstore and wait for lunch to roll around. It was only maybe another 30 minutes, neither one of us was in a rush, and we love looking at books so it was a win win in our opinion. That is until we were looking at the cookbooks around the corner and over heard the hostess talking about us and how “we looked at the breakfast menu and said we’d go look at the books instead, so we probably weren’t coming back” to summarize it bluntly (she had a couple more words and attitude behind it). We were really saddened and decided to just leave because we no longer felt welcomed. The food is good here the other two times I’ve gotten to go. Sad about the service we...
Read moreEverything about this place was absolute perfection! Almost like something you would see out of a Hallmark movie. The ambiance, the food, the service, the quality of the scratch made food, drinks, and desserts. We sat out on the patio and couldn’t believe how quaint and charming it was. Ordered sandwiches, an iced chai tea, clam chowder soup and a piece of bourbon pecan pie with the most incredible whipped cream on top. Everything was fabulous and flavorful. Absolutely obsessed with the rotating variety of quiches and desserts. I wish I lived closer, I’d be going weekly!!! Can’t wait to come back each season to enjoy everything that this place has to offer!!! A...
