I have always been more of a fan of Qdoba over Chipotle, but after this experience at Qdoba, Chipotle will now always be my go-to. It looked like this location was training in new staff members, which is fine, everyone has a starting point and has to learn, but the first thing that I noticed was that the trainees were touching the food with gloves on, but then they were touching their face and their hair and then continuing to touch the food. That grossed me out and I almost walked out right then and there. I decided to ask the trainee who was going to be making my burrito to change her gloves and she went ahead and changed her gloves and let me know that she was also going to wash her hands.
I haven't had Qdoba in quite some time, so I was excited to get a burrito, but the food overall tasted off. I'm not sure what exactly it was but I could only take about four bites of my burrito and then I had to stop. The chips and queso were good. Chipotle was across the street, and I almost went over there and got myself a new burrito.
The staff was nice. The trainees still have training to do, especially when it comes to the sanitary part of things, and the food just needed to taste better. The rice, queso, chicken, and even the lemonade from the machine all tasted off. The queso that I had for my chips tasted better than the queso that was on my burrito. They might have been from two different batches because the queso for my chips was pulled out of a different area whereas the queso for my burrito was in a bucket on the line.
Safe to say, I have no intention of returning to this Qdoba or maybe any Qdoba for...
Read moreI’ve heard mixed things about this location and one previous visit was not bad, albeit not stellar. What you might ask was bad on this visit? The employees worked with no sense of urgency, quite the opposite, almost purposely slow. This was my first warning sign - the lack of caring. They were out of guacamole and didn’t tell me instead they let me leave the store without it, even though I was charged. I had to call to find out what happened & the girl that was the lead told me they don’t do partial refunds and the best they could do is offer me free chips, and guac the next time I came in. The gentleman that handed me my food straight up lied to me. I asked him if there is pico in the bag because I didn’t see them put it in. He looked in the bag and told me yes! Guess what? It wasn’t! The real icing on the cake was the quesadilla - you know, the meal where cheese is the main ingredient. Well, not this time - there is no other toppings that I ordered on my quesadilla except corn, and the tiniest bit of cheese I have ever seen in my life (pictured is the part with the most!). There is so little cheese that the entire thing came apart and wasn’t even edible except as a corn salad. Might as well not stop now, because my meatless meat was also burnt to a crisp.
This is the first negative review that I have left on here - that’s how bad it was. Not worth it, I’d rather wait at chipotle. At least the quality of food is consistent there. There’s a reason Qdoba is always dead. Which should make them put extra effort in, but NOPE they’ve completely...
Read morewe love qdoba & come fairly regularly. recently things have just been different! Upon arrival I was instantly blown away by how many people were behind the counter yet not once did I get greeted or even a hello & we were they only customers in the store. Another thing that caught my attention was The line, It was disgusting , nothing was clean or fresh looking, half the containers had one scoop left in them which is surprising beings there was 8 employees standing around talking. The person who made our food wasn’t even suppose to be on line because they were already occupied with preparing a catering & there was 3 other people doing nothing. Nobody changed their gloves. In the 20 minutes I was there between me my spouse and another customers food being made, payed out & bagged I didn’t see any gloves get changed or hands get washed from anybody which is also disgusting. The lobby floor looked like it hasn’t been cleaned all day and the pop machines were covered in syrup. Again it’s very surprising how messy/ dirty the whole store was with 8 employees working & only 3 customers in the whole store! It’s really sad to see a good food place go down hill like this due to poor...
