Worst customer service EVER. And as you can see from their responses under their reviews, it doesn't take much from a customer's end to prove their point. Completely unprofessional.
This afternoon my husband and 2 children went through this locations drive through. Once at the speaker where you order, there was a rude women who began taking our order. After each item I asked to order, she responds with " Is that all" in a rushed, sharp and snarky tone. After ordering 3 of 7 items, I asked her to wait a moment as my husband was trying to figure out what he wanted. Took a few seconds. I began ordering again, and I heard her say something, but i could not understand what it was. Same flat, monotone, snarky tone of voice, I assumed it was the same response I've been experiencing from her which was " anything else". So I continued ordering. She then came over the speak, yelling at me in a disrespectful tone " I SAID HOLD ON". I was in complete shock. A few seconds went by, and she finally responded again, saying " anything else" in the same disrespectful tone.
I told her to not yell at me as that is complete unprofessional and not good customer service. She responded with " I asked you to hold on". I said I did not hear her, and that doesn't mean you can yell at me.
I finished my order with her disrespectful tone, and approached the window to pay.
There was a man with a severe speech impediment, who was ringing us up. I asked to speak to the manager on duty. He responded with a attitude himself, " the manager?". Yes, I would like to speak to the manager as the women taking our order yelled at me and was disrespectful. He then cuts me off, says he's the manager and that 4 other employees claim I was rude to her first!? Another female employee approached the window, loudly saying " this women was disrespectful first".
I responded with " I have 4 witnesses also who heard the altercation and her be disrespectful. He cut me off, handed me my food and did not care.
I am in complete shock and disappointed this branch has lost sight of customer service and what it entails. I've never been so disrespected by a fast food establishment, let alone in...
Read moreThe Asst GM told me to leave a review so I am. I was extremely disappointed in the poor quality of the double mushroom burger I got through the drive-thorough last night. It was a long day. I was looking forward to a nice burger, which I usually get at this establishment. When I got home the bun and burger were luke warm and limp. It was very skimpy on the cold grilled onions and melted cheese and the burger felt like it had been under a heat lamp for quite some time. I called to express my significant disappointment about a fairly expensive drive through burger. I ended up speaking to the AGM who said this burger was up to their standards and met the quality of their restaurant. He said he was personally the one making burgers that night. But if I wanted a root beer float, he could give me a free one. I was somewhat shocked and dismayed that a manager would invalidate a customers experience in such a dismissive manner. Upon reflection, maybe it’s not the burgers that are the problem at this establishment, maybe it’s the management training. I have been disappointed in the food before at this A&W drive though, but not enough to not go back. I am still a bit stunned that the leadership of this organization doesn't welcome opportunities to learn about areas of improvement for their business. In the end, I did not accept the root beer float. And In the future I will go to Gotts, which is just down the street to visit an establishment that for a few dollars more has higher standards, better treatment of their local customers, and a guaranteed...
Read moreThe last time I came to A&W I had a bad experience. It took me several months to decide to try this here again, and I wish I had chose somewhere else.
This morning I had ordered off of their breakfast menu, two bacon egg biscuits, one large 12pc hash brown and a sausage burrito.
Several minutes later after taking my money the girl came back to the window and apologized that I could only have one biscuit sadwich not unless I waited 14 minutes for more biscuits. They offered me a replacement for a burrito which I did not get to choose bacon or sausage they simply just gave me a burrito which I also had to wait on.
After 8 minutes i finally had my food, yet the girl after handing me the bag had asked if the hash browns were in the bag. I looked and guess what? No hashbrowns. She said they had not made them yet so I would have to wait longer. I just gave up and left.
