So incredibly yummy! My Indian husband agrees and he is incredibly hard to please with any Indian food not prepared by his mother! He gives this two thumbs up and so do my children.

There is a bit of spice because it is authentic. Raita is a yogurt based sauce and calms the heat. You can also ask about lower spice options too. I had no problem with the spice level in most of the dishes. Again, if sensitive, ask for options- there are plenty! The Plav, dosa, biryani- everything is amazing.

Don’t expect fast food as everything is made to order, so take a seat and enjoy the flavorful experience. The atmosphere is picnic-y. It is very authentic to what we experienced in India with folding tables and chairs, vinyl tablecloths and bottled water. It is no nonsense and no problem. Service is amazing and food, well, picky Indian husband loves it, and he is a harsh critic!

A friend and I met for lunch at Prince Solomon's Royal Indian Restaurant in downtown Rolla. We loved it. I’m a country girl so I had never had Indian cuisine before. I told the waitress I needed help deciding what to choose. She was so sweet and talked about the different dishes on the menu. My friend and I each chose something different and then shared. We had chicken curry and vegetable curry. The waitress wanted to know how spicy we wanted the food to be and we said not very. The food was absolutely delicious. We plan to go again!! I’m from St. Louis so this place was such a wonderful find down west 44, in Saint James. This mom-and-pop restaurant, exceeded all expectations. The service was impeccable, earning a solid 5/5, with kind owners, going above and beyond. The food was a flavor explosion, truly wonderful in every bite. Surprisingly, the prices were reasonable, making it an excellent value for such high-quality cuisine.
