McDonald's is simply McDonald's. What made this visit exceptional was the cashier or server ,I think his name was Tim. I stopped in for a cup of coffee. I noticed the sign on the glass advertising donut sticks for a limited time so I figured I'd try them. I stepped to the counter the cashier came to take my order. He was very friendly and had a pleasant attitude. I placed the order for the coffee and asked if they still had the donut sticks, remembering the sign said for a limited time. The cashier said they still serve them. He Looked , not seeing any went to the back somewhere. He returned said that he just dropped some down. I paid for my order, stepped to the side and proceeded to wait. While waiting I noticed a little disturbance going on and this lady came to the front and confronted the cashier (Tim) . She said that when they are out they are out, he said I dropped some. Long story short Tim was in trouble for going against protocol. I was not aware of this. I'm not sure weather or not Tim was aware of this. He left the counter, but before he left he told the young lady taking his place that I was waiting on some donut sticks that he had dropped. When the young lady brought me my order, I apologized for causing any confusion. She said you are alright. My thoughts turned towards Tim, will he be alright. Kind of puzzled about what just took place, and why Tim was in trouble for going above and beyond to take care of a customer, made me look at that sign on the window a little closer. In small writing with a circle around it was the words" available only during breakfast ". I looked at the time on the dash it was 11am, well after breakfast. Like I said, I wasn't aware of this. Again, I'm not sure if Tim was aware of this. Either way I want to thank you Tim for your caring spirit, great customer service and very pleasant attitude . Also thank you for giving me the opportunity to try those donut sticks, they were good. I'm so sorry for any grief your thoughtfulness may have cost you . You should be commended. Made me feel special!!!! Really ...
Read moreWow! I can’t believe the service! I get working at a fast food establishment isn’t on the top for everyone to want to be doing. There are no words. We came inside. Eight people. Four people ordered before the other four but all one order. When the other four came out of the restroom. The other four ordered all one ticket. That means we now should have two (2) separate tickets with four orders on each separate tickets. We waited. First four people’s order was placed on the counter. Then a different employee told us some how they didn’t ring up the two orders from the second team ticket …okay..they rang it up. We paid…some of our group went outside bc with eight people the small area was too small. When the other three came out . My pregnant sister didn’t have any food! I asked why..she said they forgot it from the second order..then an employee tried arguing with her so my sister said she refused to order a third time. Then we find out there wasn’t any sauces in the happy meals..someone went back inside to ask for three sauces because we ordered three chicken nugget happy meals..an employee said she put it in the bag. She then took a few more orders . Then told another employee that she wasn’t going to give my sister any sauces that they (the other employee) could! Lol someone gave her the three sauces. Can you imagine messing up all of this with an attitude ! Come on now! No one likes working most if the time but that’s what you get do. I am positive they aren’t getting paid to be rude to customers because they Screwed something up MULTIPLE times!! Oh and yes I’ve worked fast food. I know it can be tough. This isn’t it. They clearly have horrible attitudes all the time to customers because look at their reviews. Corporate office has clearly done nothing to turn this location around. We asked for a number for Corp…no one would give corps number. Someone needs to stop by and figure out what’s going on at...
Read moreMore often than not, I find that workers don’t care about giving GOOD customer service. Whether it be fast food, the grocery store, gas station, etc… You say “Hi!” to a cashier these days and usually just get a blank stare in return. It’s frustrating to see how much customer service has gone downhill in the past handful of years, but it is what it is. India went above and BEYOND for me to the point where it literally brought me to tears in the drive thru! Long story, but all I had on me was a $100 (I know large bills are a headache, but I was DESPERATE). India was polite and honest about the fact that she couldn’t break it. I totally understood, but again, I was desperate. I explained to her that I’m pregnant, couldn’t hold down solids, and really needed a smoothie to get through my shift at work. India stopped what she was doing and did what she could to get me that smoothie. She could’ve easily turned me away, but she didn’t. She treated me like a human and I can’t tell you how moving it was to been seen in that moment. I know that $100 billion was annoying to deal with, but she did it all with a smile and without making me feel bad. I can’t say the same about all of the employees at this location, but you truly have struck gold by having India on your team!! Forever grateful to her!
While I’m here, I want to shout out Walley (I might be getting his name wrong) for always being so sweet! His mood has changed my entire day for the better multiple times and I appreciate him for that. I also want to shout out the gorgeous lady whose nails always match her glasses. I’ve never gotten her name, but she always has a smile on her face and sends nothing but positivity to her customers. You guys don’t even know how far your kindness...
