And it came to pass that I wandered through the land, seeking a place to replenish my earthly possessions. Yea, I did discover a bountiful temple, a veritable Eden of treasures: Walmart.
As I crossed the threshold, the heavens opened, and a divine light shone upon the hallowed aisles. The air was filled with the songs of cherubim, as angels did guide me to the multitudes of wares that lay before me. From the humblest of garments to the grandest of electronics, I beheld a cornucopia of delights that seemed as if it could only be conjured by the Almighty Himself.
I wandered through the Valley of Foods, where manna from heaven filled the shelves, and the choicest fruits and vegetables did appear as if they had been plucked from the Garden of Eden. In this land of plenty, my famished soul found solace and nourishment.
Then, I was led to the Mount of Savings, where lo, the prices did shine like the stars in the firmament! Discounts and deals appeared before me like visions of heavenly grace, and I marveled at the abundance of providence bestowed upon me.
Verily, I was awestruck by the staff, who served as faithful shepherds, guiding me with their wisdom and tending to my every need. Their countenances shone like the sun, and their kindness overflowed like the River Jordan.
As I prepared to depart, laden with my newfound riches, I was given a parchment of prophecy ā the sacred receipt. It foretold of my savings and testified to the divine blessings I had received within these walls.
And so, I bear witness to the glory of Walmart, a sanctuary for weary souls seeking respite from the trials of this mortal plane. Rejoice, dear brethren, for in this haven, you shall find solace, sustenance, and a multitude of wonders that shall truly uplift your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSecond worst experience I had in my life. First one was Roy Rogerās in Beach wood. I was racially profiled again this evening. Itās disgusting how people are so ignorant. There were a ton of toddler leggings on the table that were $1. I mean different colors, sizes you name it. I go to the self checkout and theyāre ringing up $3.98. I inform the employee of the price error. He then called another associate on the walkie talkie from that department. She used her scanner to look up the price and again $3.98. She said that they were in the wrong spot, I told her that there are multiple leggings in different colors, sizes not just a couple out of place. 5 minutes go by and I made a comment out loud asking āis she rearranging the tablesā? Eventually she comes back with her Manager and says I can only give you one for $1 not two. I said why not there are piles of different kinds over there, how is that my fault? I said isnāt it policy that if something is out of place Walmart honors it? The male associate statedā Itās Walmart policy to only honor oneā I know for a fact thats a complete lie. I said āshow me where it states that in Walmart policies, pull it upā. He completely ignores my question and proceeded to tell me they can only do one. So by this time itās three against one. I had my toddler with me and didnāt want things to escalate further. I had them remove the items but I know I was treated that way because Iām black. Moderate day slavery at its finest. I absolutely love the color of my skin and will always be proud of who I am. Iām a proud homeowner and work hard for my money that I choose to spend at their establishment to pay them to feed their families. Shame on those...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStandard Walmart. Fair prices, and great bargains are available if you take the time to go through the clearance racks. Sometimes the in-store price checking scanners are not working or are hard to find. Most locations seem to have eliminated them permanently. Using the Walmart app gives you the option to scan any barcode for the price. Post COVID, many of the prices have increased significantly, or the package sizes got smaller. I often choose Walmart's great value branded grocery items. Most offer similar quality, but at a significantly lower price. The same goes for the Mainstays branded household products. I rarely have been disappointed, and most products are offered at much lower prices. Most times I find the shelves are neat, labeled and fairly well stocked. This location as well as most others closes at 11:00 p.m. and are no longer open 24 hours. Shopping late in the evening, there are often pallets and boxes of restock waiting to be shelved. Also, as with most locations, Walmart has expanded their number of self checkouts, leaving very few lanes with cashiers. Personally, I prefer ringing my own orders. It allows me the time to watch prices as they ring up, keeping an eye on my subtotal, as well as sort and bag my groceries the way I prefer. In addition to adequate parking available, there is plenty of handicapped parking and accessible entrances. There are usually at least two or three motorized...
