Read moreSo here is my take on Chick Fil A. Great across the board until you dine at this particular location. I’d have to imagine that these details or errors come from improper training (management). Here’s my problem, quality control. I’ve never had a single issue at any other chick fil a other than here. I’ve ordered about 10 or so times here in manahawkin and every time there has been an error with what I ordered or I didn’t get everything that I ordered. With this particular time, After placing my order with the mobile app and confirming that I arrived, I received my Spicy Southwest chicken salad with no toppings such as the crispy tortilla chips and no chili lime pepitas. I’m not upset that I didn’t get the chips or pepitas because I asked the cashier and they gave them to me. I’m unhappy because I have never had a single scenario at this location where everything was perfect and I received everything I ordered. I figured if I mentioned it once or twice to management, months ago, their quality of service would improve? Nope! One of the managers even told me that for “quality control” 3 different sets of hands have to make sure that everything is exact before the customer receives their food! (I don’t think the staff cares enough to check since I’ve never not had a good service) I even saw a cashier that dropped a sauce packet on the ground while getting sauces for the customer, and then kicked it under the delivery table because “they were lazy to pick it up.” I didn’t want to write this review because I know that it affects the store overall but I can’t imagine what it would take to have an experience where I order and leave without error/problems. I don’t want any free food or any compensation. I just want people to care and take a little extra time to make sure that the customer got what they asked for. If somebody does read...
Read moreGone are the days of America’s favorite fast food place.
I have been to this location probably about 5 to 7 times now and every time the wait in the drive-through is so unbelievably slow. And not just at peak hours, this most recent visit was a little after 10 PM and the wait was 12 minutes for “fast food” in the drive thru. One of the most important factors of fast food is the fast part. Speed is required so you don’t have an opportunity to second-guess your decision with the food you were about to get. But with these extended wait times, your mood quickly goes from the excitement of awaiting the opportunity to indulge in some of the finer things in life, to wondering why you made the poor decision to try yet again to get food fast at the Manahawkin Chic Fil A. To make it worse, when I finally got to the food window, I had to wait even longer as my food sat there on the counter. You might expect your food to be hot and ready once it’s received, but it isn’t. And no acknowledgement whatsoever from staff regarding the extremely long wait time. With that said, the staff are always nice and friendly, but the wait seriously kills all good vibes felt prior to stopping.
Lastly, not specific to this location, but since Chic Fil A went back to antibiotic treated chicken, one has to question the appeal of Chic Fil A any longer, as their chicken seems smaller now and there are other options just as good if not...
