Five Guys — Restaurant in Stafford

We stopped in here for a late night meal because the traffic was horrible and it was going to be another hour of sitting in it so we decided to get some food to take a break from the aggravation. I love Smashburger and people had been telling me that Five Guys is much better so I wanted to try them out finally. The burger was not as good as Smashburger. I got a bacon cheeseburger with mayo and ketchup. The burger was cooked great, crispy bacon, but just didn’t have the bun taste and burger taste that I love so much from Smashburger. I did like the fries they were very yummy. However, I prefer to eat the smashtots with rosemary, garlic and olive oil. They are hard to beat. My boyfriend got a regular cheeseburger and Cajun fries and enjoyed it. I did love the shake that I got – I got Oreo and peanut butter cookie pieces as my mix-ins. The shake was my favorite thing about this dinner. They have a drink machine like AMC theaters have where the selections are on a touch screen and they have juices, teas, water, flavored water, and of course soda. I got a regular drink and refills were free. They have high chairs and regular tables and chairs in this Five Guys location. The guy working the cash register taking orders was friendly. The store itself was clean and the bathroom was clean. It is located in a shopping center (Stafford Marketplace) and they do have other places to eat and shop nearby. No issues finding parking since there are plenty of parking spots. I could eat at Five Guys again if went out with people that wanted to go here but it would not be...

I can’t say enough good things about the Five Guys at Stafford Marketplace. Tonight, I showed up just before closing—9:52 PM to be exact—hoping to get some fries after being let down by another location. Not only did the staff welcome me in with no hesitation, but they also made the best fries I’ve had from Five Guys in a long time.

What really stood out was their attitude. They could have easily turned me away or rushed the order, but instead, they treated me like a valued customer. They even mentioned that the other location could have made fresh fries for me but chose not to. That level of honesty and care for both their service and food quality speaks volumes.

This is what great customer service looks like. The team here takes pride in what they do, and it shows. From now on, I’ll be making the extra drive to Stafford Marketplace—because I know I’ll be treated right and leave with great food every time.

As you know, if you've eaten at 5 Guys, the fresh ingredients and taste, is unlike any other burger chain! When I stopped eating wheat last November, I thought I'd probably have to do without their delectable foods... but, good news!... they make lettuce wrapped burgers!!! The fries are amazing, too, and are an occasional treat for me, on my low carb dietary journey! They are happy to make your order of fries without salt, for those cutting back on sodium. The Kosher dogs can be served bunless, too. Vegetarian options, fantastic soda options, thick milk shakes, and outdoor tables. The only thing I frown on is the price and thickness of the shakes. I enjoyed one once, before cutting out sugar, but McDonald's still rules over the shake machine... however, the infinite options on the 5 Guys soda dispensers push McDonald's into Yesteryear. Oh!... one last thing... the "little" hamburger/cheeseburger is the regular burger, not a slider sized choice... if you don't say "little", be prepared to open wide for 2 patties plus all your toppings stacked high! PEANUTS are free...
