To begin, I placed an order online at 2:35. I’m 4 months pregnant, have a 1.5 year old and my husband just has severe back surgery. No naturally I thought the delivery optioned offered online would be fitting considering my families circumstances. My order was expected to arrive at 3:08, approximately 40 minutes from time of order. When the order status remained on “awaiting pick up” for 20 minutes I thought to contact the driver, to which they ignored numerous phone calls as well as text messages regarding the order. Frustrated, and hungry I drove to the chipotle location. Ironically walking in at the same time as the delivery driver over an hour after original order time. She left, feeling it was fitting that her job was done. And happily accepting the tip I paid. Now for the location. Order was placed at 2:35 I arrived an hour from order time. My order was not complete and when I heard other customers displeased numerous items weren’t ready, being prepared, or offered I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. Reassured “steak only takes a few minutes” I waited an additional 30 minutes. 3:30pm is not lunch time, it’s not rush hour, in fact I was 1 of 4 people in the location. No one was preparing food. the counter top was riddled with remnants of previous orders. In the 30 minute wait, I witnessed an employee “forget to check” if there were chips for another online order. The same employee forgot veggies in my veggie only burrito bowl. The overall experience with chipotle, as well as this location has been comical if not a joke. Read moreI never thought I’d review a Chipotle, but this location is notably bad. Kinda feels like I’ve walked in on a kids birthday party where the adults were gone for too long. The food line can be a mess, ingredients mixed together, slops of salsa/sour cream/guacamole on the counter. The soda and napkins always look like a Jack in a Box just went off. They have two Coca Cola dispensers and neither of them work. I actually find this comedic. Like one of the two streams would always shoot straight water, but it would change. So they closed one permanently and now neither of them work. Like I’m not even mad anymore it’s just funny. Anyway, it seems there’s only ever one employee serving as the line and cashier while random people in the back are doing… something? Ingredients are always low.
Strange location. I gave them a pass for a few months because it was a new location but yeah it’s just really bad. Better off driving to Greenwich exit 5.
EDIT: for some reason I keep going here so I’ll update new and exciting ways it’s so bad. Last time I was here they had no ice. Like I bought a soda cup, they didn’t say anything, I discovered there was no ice, told them “there’s no ice,” and they were like “yeah there’s no ice,” like I’m the idiot. I guess I am? Why would this location have ice? This is just funny to me.
EDIT 2: I went back 2 years later and stood at the order line as six different employees ignored me and the other 5 people in line for literally 8 minutes. Not a care in the world. One employee started swearing about a pot being hot. Another employee looked at the line, came up and made himself a bowl of white rice, then walked outside....
Read moreThis was honestly the worst Chipolte I have ever been to. I was traveling for work and stopped in for lunch. I got there shortly after they opened. The restrooms were in horrible condition, messy and things broken like the soap and TP dispenser. I get on line, and while I'm waiting, the staff is just moseing along; the manager, I believe, is being watched and talked to about the bathrooms and the look of the place by this younger woman, obviously she can see this location is a mess. The guy is front of me is talking the servers ear off and holding up the line to tell her the world is ending. Finally, its my turn, I order a carnits bowl. I wanted to get quac but it's half empty and the avocado is dark brown so I had to skip it. I get my order, pay, and I go to get plasticware. There are about 3 or 4 employees sitting there eating lunch meanwhile the place just opened. There are ZERO forks or knives so i have to go back to the counter and then it takes them 10 minutes to find the box and give me one...even the kid was complaining how no one does their job there. I get to my car to eat so I can get back on the road, the meat is COLD!! The only thing warm was the rice. I was already so aggrevated, I just put it to the side and left. I wouldn't recommend this location, unless at some point they get...
