Great Burgers, Excellent Service, Persistent Alarm
If you're in the market for a consistently delicious burger in Stamford, look no further than Five Guys. As baseline expectations for fast food have sadly become the exception rather than the norm, this establishment deserves high praise for not only meeting, but often exceeding these standards.
From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly, efficient staff who have never failed to get my order right. As someone who values accuracy in my food orders, this aspect alone deserves commendation.
The restaurant itself is a testament to cleanliness. Despite the quick-service model, the premises always appear well-maintained and clean, which definitely adds to the overall dining experience. Parking is a breeze with ample space available and they have accommodating hours which makes planning meals easy and convenient.
Five Guys' burgers are mouth-watering to say the least. Every bite is a satisfying mix of quality beef, fresh toppings and the perfect bun to meat ratio. It's a true testament to the magic that happens when simplicity and quality ingredients come together.
However, there is one peculiar aspect that prevents me from giving a full 5-star review. For some reason, there's been a consistent beeping sound from a fire alarm that has persisted for the past five years. While it doesn't detract from the quality of the food, it can be slightly bothersome during your meal.
That said, if you can overlook the persistent alarm and focus on the delectable burgers, efficient service, and the cleanliness of the establishment, Five Guys in Stamford is definitely worth your time...

Some helpful tips.
Wish they had a sign that says it's ok to throw peanut shells on the floor like other 5 guys restaurants do. Otherwise you feel weird and rude doing it, but it is ok and expected to throw the peanut shells on the ground while waiting in line.
Just found out that all their sodas are free refills! So don't feel weird about doing it.
Remember a regular burger has 2 patties in it, not just 1. If you want a normal size burger with 1 patty you need to order a junior burger. They also cut their hot dogs in half length wise, and they do the same to hot dog buns which makes it a bit hard for young kids to eat because it slides out of the bun so it's like eating a hot dog shaped burger on a hot dog shaped bun that is in 2 pieces, like a burger. Might want to ask them not to cut the hot dog or the bun so your kid can eat it without...

The operators are somewhat friendly, but it feels very forced, they seem to want to rush you in ordering as well. The main issues were their cleaning the cookers wearing gloves, then not changing gloves to handle food! Gloves are not supposed to protect them, it is supposed to be to protect the customers. They spread disease and chemicals onto food by not changing gloves.
Right over in NY they have laws where you must change gloves once you touch machinery or anything that multiple people handle daily before you touch food. Then ypu have one employee touch things, wipe counters with gloves, then do a superficial check on food that someone else had started, just spreads things around.
Some of these places act as if gloves cost $10 a pair or something -...
