Ole Mole — Restaurant in Stamford

Never go to this place! Waitresses are rude and nasty. We ordered food and we waited for 1 1/2 hours and nothing was served until we made a follow up and still nothing. We were there just us at the beginning until most of the tables were occupied and some left already and done eating. Even at the beginning, the waitress first serve the chips and left with no plates . So we ask and gave us one plate when there's 3 of us.. clearly we were discriminated and most of the white people were served first and left us behind.. we just decided to cancel our order which was not prepared yet. This waitress took the payment right away and showed us with an insulting face. I wonder if the owner knows about this. Who is the owner ? Please train your servers to be polite and respectful to customers even if they are colored.. Does this server hated Asians? Never ever again on this place!!!!! They did not even ask why we are cancelling and gladly took the payment for the chips and drinks. That was the only one that was served and the rest never came while other people left already. I seemed like she did it on purpose cause 1 1/2 hours is too long of a wait. We would understand if it was busy at the beginning but it’s not at all!. There were good reviews that’s because those are white people and they take care of them . Never eat to this place!...

Wow - We stopped for dinner as a break from our long drive during a snow storm on the day after Christmas. As you can imagine, the Merritt was moving at 5 mph. This is exactly what we needed!!

Ole Mole is a small 10-seat store front, and doesn't look particularly impressive from the outside, but wow the food was great! I had the Enchiladas Suizas, recommended by Angela (Thanks Angela!). The visual appeal was wonderful with green salsa verde and red corn tortillas. The flavor was amazing. The chips and salsa beforehand were a mixed bag. The chips were a little flat, but the pico de gallo salsa made up for it.

My wife had Carne Asada tacos. Very simple, with an unusual presentation of a feta-like cheese rather than cheddar. Delicious and miles better than what you will get at a chain Mexican restaurant.

Been coming to this place for 20 years idc what anyone says.. the shredded beef taco and chicken tacos with the salsa verde are good as hell. This isnt sloppy soggy heavy mexican food. Fresh flavors and textures working together. Crispy taco with marinated shredded beef topped with cool lettuce and tomato also crumbled queso fresca with the chiltomate sauce It’s absolute perfection! Rice and beans hit too not overly salted and perfectly cooked. They give you generous portions and chips and salsa with your order. The inside is very cute for dining… they have updated it since- used to be mostly takeout and like 2 tables inside. its very clean has a good vibe. good for anyone wanting grab a bite to eat alone and not feel weird lol. and in the nice weather they a few small...
