Peking — Restaurant in Stamford

Nothing too special. It's alright. I ordered their Beef Ho Fun, which is normally a dry stir-fry. and that's what the picture showed in their restaurant. It should normally be just the Ho Fun noodle, Beef and some bean sprouts and green onions. I got much more than that along with the fact that it was just sauced up. It ended up still being fine, but all those other vegetables that were in there was a tragedy. The one good thing they did put in there that was a surprise was bamboo. They used young bamboo and it's so nice and tender. The beef was cooked properly as well. And even after walking 25 from the restaurant to the hotel Hilton Stamford, it was still piping hot.

The Sesame Chicken was pretty bad. It just tasted like sugar in a sauce that's red, but doesn't really give any additional flavors of any sort. The rice was also just ok. I did like their eggroll. If I ever come back to Stamford, I'd still like to give this restaurant some business. The employees worked very hard during the late lunch rush. I might try some other items...

⚠️ WARNING I WILL NEVER GO HERE AND EAT AGAIN THERE ARE SO MANY REASONS BUT TONIGHT MY FIANCE GOT SO SICK SHE THREW UP THE FOOD AS SOON AS SHE DIGESTED IT WE CALLED THE RESTAURANT ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL AND THE GENTLEMAN ANSWER THE PHONE TOLD ME TO HOLD ON PUT A WOMAN ON THE PHONE SHE HAD THE NERVE TO SAY HOLD ON AND TOOK AN ORDER AS I'M TELLING HER SHE NEEDS TO THROW OUT THE FOOD THAT SHE JUST SOLD US BECAUSE IT HAS MY FIANCE THROWING IT ALL UP IN A PAPER BAG THEY HAD NO CARE FOR THE HARM THAT THEY JUST CALLED HER ON TOP OF IT THE DELIVERY DRIVER DIDN'T EVEN GET OUT THE CAR WE HAD A WALK TO THE CAR HE GAVE US THE FOOD THROUGH THE WINDOW. Best of the West SIde Stamford Chinese take out spots and decent delivery. Those that complain about delivery times must rationalize its Stamford CT not NYC and Stamford is huge by square miles so chill out.

Very well respected for their Chicken dishes solid Chicken with Broccoli, (Moo Goo Gai Pan is my defacto) and see they do a ton of fried chicken. Steamed Dumplings are good (great sauce) Great owner, staff are friendly multilingual (yes Spanish too). Strip mall with parking. Portion size is enormous for all dishes.
