UPDATE Review 9/24/2018: I have e-mailed Riko's after they responded to my review (see below). They offered to remedy the situation with two free pizzas. I hope they continue to focus on improving their customer service.
I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I have gotten both take out and dined in at this particular Riko's. I've never had a problem dining in, but take out was another story. This happened about a month or so ago. My sister and I walked to Riko's and ordered pizza to go. The girl at the Order pick up station was not friendly. We thought okay, maybe it's a busy night and she's stressed out so we let her rude attitude slide. We ordered a Margherita pizza and after waiting for 15 min (which is extremely reasonable) we walked home. Well when we came home, we got a Hawaiian pizza instead. We should have checked beforehand, but didn't. That was our fault. We immediately called Riko's and things went even further down hill. At first, Riko's did not even believe that we got the wrong pizza and the same girl as took our order was talking to us on the phone in an accusatory manner. Then we had asked if we could have the correct pizza delivered instead to which she replied "No, we don't have any drivers." (LIE). While all of this was going on, the girl was talking to someone in the store about the situation (I could hear everything from my line). I couldn't believe they didn't have any drivers, how could that be? Don't they do delivery? Then, she proceeded to say "All of our drivers are busy". We had asked how long will it take to have it delivered and she said "An hour or so." We also asked for a refund, however, she said the manager wasn't in town and she is the only one that can authorize that. Since we were so hungry at this point, we decided to drive to Riko's to get the correct pizza. The same rude person tried to take our Hawaiian pizza back! She actually reached her hand out for the pizza. In the end, we kept the Hawaiian pizza for the inconvenience. Pizza is good but customer service is lacking. This behavior was uncalled for and unnecessary considering we didn't do anything wrong and were nice about the whole situation. I've since gotten delivery and everything was fine, but wow Riko's you should really invest in some customer...
Read moreIf you plan to dine in (Newfield Ave), dont! I visited many times (thinking it was an "off" night, but still greeted with the same non-professional, non-personable personality. If the quality of the pies were worth the $11 (including tax) for a PLAIN cheese, as they were in the beginning, I can accept it; but like many establishments, have since seem to lower their standard. To avoid the non-welcoming atmosphere I've ordered delivery, but a $2 delivery fee for diminishing quality, I'd recommend going elsewhere. To the owner, I've seen your responses to complaints (I Admire the personable tactic.... very appreciated, as businesses lost that type of care) but no need for any free offer here, it's past that point and I should've reached out several visits ago . But train your employees to service the customer with a smile and reintroduce higher quality pies (as your early days). Good luck. I may try again...

Unfortunately the pizza was really disappointing. Everyone knows Riko's is a Colony knock off, and when they first opened in the area it was really convenient and we ordered take out and delivery often. But, I think they've gotten too comfortable and the pizza lately has been so greasy it's almost not edible and that was our experience here. Pizza's naturally greasy but not to this extend. I would encourage visiting for a drink...if your looking for a good thin crust pizza take the ride down to Colony or even go up to Vinny's, hopefully Riko's steps...
