Newer Restaurant. Almost a flagship restaurant - but when I pulled into the parking lot and accessed the handicapped spot, I walked all the way over to the door (in the afternoon) to find the lobby was closed. The drive-through was opened so I walked all the way back to my vehicle at 4:15 pm, Sunday. I went through the drive-through and the people at 'the other end' of the ordering speaker seemed confused, disoriented, and were struggling intensely. Finally, I completed my order and pulled along side. After minutes of intense searching and multiple attempts at using the ordering register, the order went through. It seemed like it was the first day of everyone that worked there, even though this location has been open for some time. BTW... I get VERY nervous when people take my credit card and disappear for quite sometime, especially when the card leaves my sight. It was gone for a long period of time while the ordering processed was finally guessed correctly. To say there was mass confusion would be an understatement. Finally the food came which was VERY good. Corporate needs to get off their cans and get in there to do training. The staff is trying and struggling. Read moreI got overcooked crumbly dry eggs in my whole order of 4 items. My husband ate the non-egg parts of his and threw out the rest, mom ate hers but disliked it (she isnt too picky) and when I finally got to mine I personally couldn't eat it and went back to get a new one because I was hungry and figured they just had a bad egg batch. I got there and the girls who helped me told me del taco now tells the stores to overcook their eggs and that if I wanted a new item it would be the same eggs so it is best to just get a refund. I could only get a refund for the item I brought back with me as well which I kinda understand... though better customer service would probably at least be to trust me that my husband threw out half of his and might still be a bit hungry understandably.. They told me that all del tacos would be the same now with their eggs. I'm willing to try another location just in case. Will update my review here if she was correct. I've never had a bad egg problem before. Either she is right and all del tacos have inedible eggs now, or (more likely in my opinion) someone at the store made a bad batch and they didn't want to make a new one for future customers or to make mine again. Read moreI am extremely surprised and incredibly appreciative of Esperanza(I hope I’m spelling this right) she was working at the window tonight and I was shocked when she waved away my card I thought she was saying they don’t accept EBT but when I asked she actually explained that she can’t handle the card to protect from fraud which I just experienced recently. I have gone to a thousand different fast food places and even some stores and I have never had an employee be so careful and take such great care to follow the rules, almost everywhere I go the first thing im asked once they see it’s EBT is “what’s your pin” and you feel like you have to tell them some places say you do have to tell them because the machine is inside so they have to go in and enter it themselves. It was so refreshing to see someone that’s working so hard for definitely not enough money to care so much about something that to almost every other person in her place finds so trivial and actually get irritated when you don’t feel comfortable giving your pin away. Incase Esperanza sees this, now you know why I asked for your name, and THANKYOU for making such a great experience, you 100% deserve a raise or a promotion if you’re not already manager.
