The two stars are for the quality of the food and the kindness and efficiency of the waitstaff. That much I will say is positive. Great quality food. And great waitresses. The missing three stars are because the catering menu is a flat out lie when it comes to how much the order feeds. I was hosting a party of 60 people, so I ordered the large chicken tender tray(priced $85 and supposedly feeds 50-60 people), and the large angus slider tray (priced $155 supposedly feeds 40-50 people). I had about 30 people go through the line and no one got more than a couple tenders or sliders. In theory, if everyone had gotten only one or the other, it should have fed over 100 people, and even if they got some of both, there should have been enough for at least 40-50 people. It didn’t even feed the first 30 people at my party. So with 25 people still having yet to get any food, I ordered another chicken tender tray since it was cheaper. Five people still were left with no food. I watched every person come through that line and no one had plates piled high with food, everyone had maybe two chicken tenders, and a couple took the 6 sliders that were left after the first group went though (again only 6 left after 30 people when it should feed 40-50 according to the menu). So at the end of the night, my bill was almost $150 more than what I had planned for, and five people from my party still did not eat anything. The catering menu “estimates” are a flat out lie. Maybe a solution would be listing the amount of food provided instead of what they assume it will feed. I’m so angry at this situation and I will not be hosting more...
Read moreWent on date night here last month for the first time. Our waitress was attentive and cool, the atmosphere and furniture give a cool, chill, vibe and a nice and modern look. It looks somewhat fancy inside yet feels lax at the same time. The drink glasses are huge, thick, and have a good grip feel. The food is absolutely delicious!
My fiancee got a house salad, Caribbean Steak, loaded potato, and the "Relaxer" drink. Said all of it was amazing, and that drink got them very tipsy very fast but tasted amazing and fruity. They also got the housemade, Panko fried mozzarella sticks. Those were AWESOME.
I got the NOLA pasta, caesar salad, crabcake appetizer, and we ended with the dessert shot trio.
Notes: potatoes hot and fresh. Salad is extremely crisp, crunchy, you can taste the freshness and care. Steak hella juicy, tender, and the chef made a perfect medium well!. Crabcake app had a very complex flavor profile and tasted very good, sweet, tangy, light, and nothing sea-like! My salad was amazing. My pasta was pretty good too. The noodles they use make it more fun to eat. Desserts were awesome. If you've never had mousse before (fancy pudding), this would be a great introduction. These are key lime pie, chocolate fudge brownie, and caramel and vanilla cream. They taste wonderful and feel light on the stomach. Very great to finish. Each shot costs $2.50. I'd recommend just trying one of each. Getting the full 2 of each set is about $13. Overall price of this dinner combo: $~75-80.
Only complaint is seeing other pictures having toast? with the food, but it didn't really need toast unless you like to clean...
Read moreI’ve been eating at the Grill since I can remember and it’s always been a good place so I decided to go with friends to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation for 12 @7:30 but two werent able to make it so it was 10 of us. The hostesses were really kind and we had to wait for the rest of our party before we were sat. That’s when it got a little off. When we were taken back to our table, it was two separate tables. Honestly we were expecting to be seated all together so we started pushing the two tables together. One of the workers, Emily, asked us how many of us there were, I explained the situation then she just gave us an attitude. She was also our waitress and was rude the entire night. I had asked for a virgin lemon drop, which I knew would just be a fancy lemonade. She asked me 4 times if that’s what I wanted and I told her yes until she asked me again like I didn’t understand that it would just be lemonade in a fancy glass. I knew that and even stated that I really just wanted the fancy glass because other members were drinking and I didn’t want to feel left out. Even after I told her that, she scoffed and left. Towards the end of the night, we were some of the last people inside and we were laughing, nothing else too bad except for maybe getting a little too loud but we’d calm down when we realized. As we were leaving, one of the people in my party heard her making a remark to another coworker about “waiting for the birthday girl to leave” in a condescending tone. I am severely dissapointed in the service my friends and I received and I will not be returning...
