The coffee itself is really great for the price point. Esp, being a college student finding good coffee for the price. I love the soy and almond milk alternatives as well. Only concern is every time I come the price is different. Today for the first time I got a cold brew and it was around 7.15?… for a medium cold brew? I think it would help tremendously to have a menu with prices. One day I got my same lavender latte with soy a size medium it was 5.50 pre tax, then another day I went it was close to 7.00 after tax? I was so puzzled once I got my price bc I’ve been going all summer & it’s always been under 6.00. Anywho would love to see a menu with prices, I think it would help the new workers coming in ringing up as well. I can tell some look puzzled with my order I’m guessing maybe unsure how to ring up? We went twice while visiting Starkville, and the line was out the door both times. However, it moved quick, like a well-oiled machine. I don't think we ever waited more than 5 minutes from order to food. We noticed the drive-through also moved quickly. We tried the scones, the overnight oatmeal, the sausage bagel (highly recommended on the asiago), and the acai bowl. Everything was delicious. We also tried the smoothies and enjoyed them! The barisatas were all very friendly and helpful. The homemade (GF) granola on the acai bowl was so good, we ended up taking a bag home. The only suggested improvement would be to the coffee. While the flavor was good, it was a bit more watered down than preferred, we were looking for a little bolder flavor. The Coffee Depot has never disappointed me; however, I do think it’s a bit inappropriate for the barista to have selected a tip option before handing me the handheld. I’m a server, so I rely on tips as my source of income. Tipping should be an option, not a preselected choice that I did not make.
