Dolce is dangerously good. Like, “oops I blacked out and bought three desserts” good. The cheesecake is perfect, and there’s such a large selection of gelato (#bringbacksaltedcaramel). I don’t even like sweets that much and somehow I keep ending up here. Also, if you see a guy running around like he’s in five places at once — that’s Robbie the boss man. Legend says he doesn’t sleep, just powers down for 30 mins like a Roomba. Extremely helpful, staff is always on point, and one of the best places in stark to settle down to do homework and actually enjoy studying.

It is a carefully thought out corner shop that makes good use of the limited space. The flavors they serve are unique and refreshing, with odd ones like Honey & Goat Cheese (which admittedly I loved because I'm weird). The prices are good and the atmosphere, while not entirely cozy, is quaint and relaxing.    Read moreI’ll be as honest as I can be. Starkville is so lucky to have a place like Dolce, and I want it to succeed and stay for years to come. But the staff is ALWAYS DROWNING. There’s no excuse for making customers wait 30 minutes for a bagel other than being short staffed. We love the food and want to support small businesses, but there is always an insane amount of time to wait— even if it’s called in way ahead of time.
