This Wendy's really frustrates me because I'm not sure whether to blame the management, the owners, the workers, or what. First, NEVER order through the Wendy's app unless you are going to go there and pick it up yourself. You will NOT be able to cancel your order AND customer "care" only cares between the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST. If you call after that, they tell you a brief message than hang up on you. I could understand that if this was a more regional restaurant or a mom/pop with only two or more locations, BUT WENDYS is an INTERNATIONAL corporation. At that level, I'd at least expect some type of chat box/virtual assistant or SOMETHING round the clock. Second, it is ridiculously slow. If you are in the back of the line that's backed up to the street, it will take you at LEAST thirty minutes to get your order. Third, good luck calling the store phone if you actually need something. I had to make five attempts. I do understand that when you're making burgers and you're busy that you'd much rather worry about the burgers than ringing phones. And that's why I am frustrated. Owners, if the slowness/"not-answering-phone-ness" is your fault, stop being greedy and get some more workers in there. Managers, if this is your fault, step it up. If something needs fixing, fix it. Talk to the owners, and if that is useless, alert corporate. The ONLY saving grace that this store has is that the food is actually good. Read moreI usually don't bother with reviewing fast food restaurants because we all have our own opinions about well-known places, and who am I to judge when we all like different things? I am writing this one because this particular Wendy's is TOP NOTCH!!!! The staff is friendly and caring, the food is consistently good, they know how to salt the fries just right, and they treat my little crew like movie stars when we come in. (And I can tell they treat ALL kids like little movie stars, which says a lot about how the management sells their mission as a company to their employees, in my opinion, since Wendy's is a great promoter of childhood adoption.) If something is wrong with your order (which is rare), they are perfectly willing to make it right, even if you cannot return to get the correct order right away. Way to go Starkville Wendy's!!! Y'all are getting it right, and setting the bar very high for good service in our town!!!!!! The people inside the store smelled strange however which I was not the largest fan of. The ghost pepper chicken sandwich I received was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone that is available to enjoy it. The sandwich was wonderfully spicy and an absolute treat for myself at the late end of the night (9oclock).
