Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in State College

I haven't been here in years, but we always swore that this Papa John's tasted better than any other we had been to. There's something about it that's different. We went here for years when visiting my grandma - it was our favorite place. There's a window on the side of the building that allows you to go outside and look in and watch them make the whole pizza every step of the way, which is pretty much the coolest thing ever as a kid, and honestly, even as an adult lol. One time, when my brother was very young, he was playing with a toy truck at the window sill outside the restaurant as we were watching the pizza making process. The manager/owner/maybe just an employee waved to us and smiled at us and engaged with us through the window. When we got home and ate our delicious pizza we realized my brother had left his truck on the window sill. The next day we went back to check if it was still there and the same pizza guy had it sitting on the counter waiting for us. The fact that he noticed it, went outside and retrieved it, and remembered us and had it waiting for us, was all so sweet, and above and beyond, and shows you what kind of a place...

They were awful. First of all the delivery guy gave me the wrong order, then he proceeded to tell me I was wrong even though it was someone else's address on the pizza box, not my own. I ordered three large pizzas only to receive one personal pizza to feed the six people in my apartment, and to top it all off the delivery man asked for a tip after the whole ordeal. I will never be ordering with this establishment again and I don't recommend that anyone else does either. They are awful. Pick Domino's in the Weis supermarket complex or Pizza Hut further up the street over this...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very RUDE people,j There was an X-Large pizza special on line, which did NOT indicate on line only. When we called to order it, the EXTREMELY RUDE employee said it was "on-line only" and wouldn't take the order. We tried to order it through the "orderup site, and it did not appear. We callled back and asked to speak to a manager the jerk refused to give the name of the manager. DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION YOUR BUSINESS! If you could give a No star...
