Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Statesboro

Let me start by saying Jim and Nicks saved my life literally the staff is so awesome and the food is off the chain lemme tell you my story cause its important to the plot of this review it all started last night with having the worst whopper of my life and that whopper changed my life and inspired me to go on this grand venture to find the best burger in existence well turns out it was right in front of me this whole time at Jim 'N Nicks I wasnt expecting a bbq place to have the best burger but here I am now it was so so good double or single it doesnt matter it's heaven I'm considering not only going everyday for it but even starting a church of sorts for it. Another reason for returning is how amazing the staff is I mean Amber is absolutely amazing I gotta go back just to see her alone she was amazing but the cashier Austin lemme tell you he's the funniest ,sweetest (and quite dapper) fellow i've ever met he made my experience so good someone give him not only a raise but a promotion he deserves the best! Oh right burger so when i took my first bite I felt tears come out naturally i was crying because it was so good ive never has such a experience and it has changed my life so much that now I owe that burger and Jim 'n Nicks everything!! $40 for a plate of pulled pork and a burger and fries. The first weird thing was when I went to pay and noticed the tip option. I had assumed it was a self serve restaurant and asked the cashier if it was a table service place because I was confused. If I have to get up out of my seat and fill up my own drink, why would I tip? She said it was a table service location, so I tipped. When we got our food it was pretty underwhelming. The sides were very small for what you would expect from the price. When I asked the waitress for some ranch it took over 5 mins to get it and I had to ask multiple times from various people to get it, being that you don't have an actual assigned waiter, they just have random employees walking around. We were never asked if we wanted refills, and I just had to ask to get a Togo cup since we just wanted to leave. The same issue happened like with the ranch. I literally watched the lady I asked for the drink from just walk around aimlessly (we were sitting outside). When I reminded another waiter that came by to get our plates, she brought me an empty cup.😐 All of the food wasn't terrible, and the location and decor was pretty, but the smell of manure from what I assumed to be coming from the newly laid grass kind of...

My experience at Jim ‘N Nick’s was truly outstanding! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the friendliest staff. One team member, in particular, stood out with her exceptional hospitality—Amber ? she was kind, approachable, and made me feel so welcome. Her attentiveness and genuine care added something truly special to my visit.

The food was nothing short of incredible! The smoked meats were perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and the sides were equally delicious. The cheddar biscuits were out of this world—fluffy, buttery, and impossible to stop eating! Everything on the menu was prepared with care and tasted phenomenal.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the staff’s teamwork and professionalism made it clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority. I can’t thank them enough for such a wonderful dining experience.
