Accuracy is somewhat important! We ordered three breakfast sandwiches for curb side pick-up. Didn't realize until we got home that only 1 breakfast sandwich was correct. Our two bacon, egg (not scrambled but whole egg), and cheese on a brioche bun where both wrong. Both were an egg scramble that looked like flat egg thins with no cheese. One sandwich was on a brioche bun but the other was on sandwich bread. It did not look appealing, so I'm sharing a picture of it in this review!
I called the restaurant because the receipt said they care about accuracy. Apparently it's only partially true. If you have the time to drive back to the restaurant, they would like to have a 2nd chance to make it right the way they should have the 1st time.
If you don't have the time to go back, because who really wants to take the time to get a correct breakfast sandwich when half of the family has already eaten, accuracy is less important. They say they will tell the manager but they don't want your order number and don't offer to make it right the next time. I mean really, who's going to tell their boss any thing like that willingly? "Hey boss, we really messed up a breakfast order this morning." I don't have any faith that the message will go anywhere.
So, why two stars? One of three sandwiches we're correct. Curb side delivery was pleasant, friendly, and quick. And even though the breakfasts were not accurate, they are still healthier than fast food options...
Read moreI've never had a good experience at any Panera to date. I'm not sure what has happened with this company, but from what I've been reading of other reviews, you have order either durning breakfast or early lunch to get decent service. Afternoon and evening crews seem to be lacking management oversight and it shows.
My fiancee and I waited over 20 minutes after our scheduled curbside pickup time before I had to go into the store to get my order from a shelf.
Got back to the car and realized that I only received part of my order ( no drinks were given to me initially ) and had to go Back In only to be told that they were out of two of the items I had ordered and that my drinks were on some random counter behind the registers.
Why did I have to go in for a curbside pickup order? This seems like either lack of staff or lack of caring, maybe both.
Why was it assumed that I wanted just a strawberry smoothie when I ordered a strawberry AND banana smoothie? I don't like paying for less of a product.
So, two recommendations if you have to eat here. 1. Dine as early as possible or else you won't get what you order on the app. 2. Never place a curbside pickup order after 2PM because you will wait endlessly for food to never come.
They need a better app that actually gives you the up to the minute stock status information on products because it feels really terrible expecting something to be in an order and then...
Read moreWe ordered for curbside. We waited 25 minutes before my fiance had to go in. Our bag was just sitting on the shelf, without drinks. We checked (we have had trouble with the Pooler location more than once) our order. And not only were drinks missing, but we ordered 2 brownies. They only gave us one. Fiance went back in, said they were "out of banana" so had to make a strawberry smoothie instead of what I ordered, and my fiance's soda. And because they were "out of brownies" gave us a cookie instead. ....why did we have to go inside for a Curbside Pickup? Why was the receipt charged for items we didn't get first off? Why were there no notes stating such? I thought it was just the Pooler location that lacked competency. In 2009, I ate at Panera often in Rockville Maryland. Never, NEVER had this kind of thing happen. Granted it was before curbside was a thing - but don't offer curbside at locations that ignore people waiting outside for half an hour - we were not the only ones! We advised the others waiting there that no one was going to come out, they'd have to go in - as the employees were already cleaning to close. And lastly, it said on the map "busier than usual"... Two people finishing up their meal inside (they were there when we arrived, already seated and eating) and two cars waiting for pickup is red-line...
