I've come here off and on, and it's generally OK. the inside is updated and it's usually always empty for dine-in. Certainly fewer for drive-thru here than at Fair Rd. The last experience I had was flat out gross and almost incredulous unless you were there. I was ordering the Dave's combo and they didn't have fries and swapped out for a chili instead at no charge. I thought that would have been a good thing, but then while waiting for my food - I saw the staff handling some sort of nasty white watery flood situation on the floor behind the counter with floating "buns" and trash and who knows what. I was not sure what happened there, but wow that was gross. That's something you don't see when in drive-thru, but if you did - then would drive right along and certainly not order. Unfortunately, i was inside and saw it and then I got my food. The chili was "off" and I've had Wendy's chili for 33+ years, so I have a fair baseline of how it ought to taste. The burger was not as flavorful and a bit "off" as well. Almost like there was soapy residue or cleaner left on the counter or in the pot. Keep in mind that I hadn't eaten all day and was fairly hungry, and it was still a subpar experience for one of my favorite burger places. While I didn't get sick, the next part was the worst part. So, there was chatter amongst the mostly female staff and I tuned most of it out, even the expletive every 2nd or 5th word. Eventually, it seemed to turn into a shouting match where 3 separate people were having full on non-stop conversations, talking over the other, and certainly no listening involved. It was so loud and dramatic, I expected a fight to break out or something - but no, this is just "normal" conversation. Obviously, unprofessional and that goes to management for hiring the bottom of the barrel and having no idea what is going on or not caring. I felt like if this was that undercover CEO show, he or she would have condemned this location and fired the entire staff and management. Would not...
Read moreI recently decided to have lunch at Wendy's during my break. There are two Wendy's near my workplace, and since the other one is usually crowded, I opted for this particular location. Unfortunately, the customer service has never been great at this Wendy's, and this time it was exceptionally bad.
After waiting in line for about 10 minutes to reach the speaker, I waited an additional 5 minutes. Finally, a woman came on the speaker and said, "Welcome to Wendy's." I started placing my order, but she abruptly cut me off with a disrespectful tone, saying, "HOLD ON." I was taken aback, and in response, I expressed my surprise at her audacity. She proceeded to argue with me, although I couldn't quite catch what she was saying amidst the confrontation.
I've grown weary of being treated poorly at restaurants, and unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue at Wendy's. I don't expect employees to go out of their way to serve me; all I ask for is basic respect. It's disheartening that such a simple request is too much to ask for at this particular restaurant. As a result, I've decided that this Wendy's will no longer have my business. I'll harbor this grudge and make an effort to influence others not to support this specific...
Read moreSo my family and I came into the restaurant, and we ordered, and we sat down. Then the manager gets a phone call that somebody's not coming in. Then somebody else decides to yell about them, not coming in, and she leaves, talking about not working a double. Oh, it gets better... The manager definitely showed how upset she was, thank goodness my 9 year old has an Army vet momma because we heard a bunch of 4 letter words. So then she gets a phone call from the general manager and apparently she put a hair up that one's butt. And it was the wrong butt to put the hair up. Because she said, well I'm done you beget come get your keys I quit. She threw her keys down, she took her hat off. And left 3 employees to work all by themselves. Nobody looks over 23 years old. That's sad, but the 3 people that are left are amazing. Shout out to Nicholas for not letting it get him down and still making my son a good sandwich. 👌 I suggested they all rock paper scissors for the new manager position. I hope they had a good rest of the day. Today's crew at 3pm-4pm (Friday 8/17/23) keep your heads up. Not all managers are like that, I promise you'll see there are some that actually care...
