The pizza was okay. The customer service however was pure garbage. I called to ask a simple question and was placed on hold for 30 plus minutes. It would have been more but my daughter was at the store picking up my order. Still the guy never came back to the phone. Instead, he told my daughter that no one was on hold or on the phone at all. He even acted like he went to check and see of someone was on the phone. Again, he replied see, nobody is on hold or on the line at all. When she picked up my pizza, it was cold. His reply, nothing I can do about it, you got here late, 7 minutes. Listen everyone. We all give some form of customer service in one way or another. The consumer is the reason why you have a job. We should be treated with respect. It's too much competition out here to settle for less than the respect we deserve. I know that you have challenging days. More so than any other profession. I worked at Taco Bell. Some customer's can be overwhelming, downright rude. Still, you have a choice, to either serve him/her or not. But respectfully. Ask that person to calm down or they will not be served. Or ask them to leave, with authorities for back up. Bottom line, you chose this profession to work in. Have some pride and dignity within yourself to show good customer service at all times. Any time you deal with the public, you will have challenges. How you handle them is everything. You can escalate things and cause trouble in your life. Or you can be responsible and possibly make a difference in someone's life by providing those kind words or good customer service when it's needed the most. Roles easily reverse and you want to be respected where you spend your money. Not kicked in the butt. The lack of respect in this world today is HORRIBLE, especially amongst adults and it shouldn't be. That same garbage is trickling down to our children, resulting to the world we live in today, SMH. Breathe, think, as a parent. Give good customer service, not only because it's best and it's the right thing to do. Give good customer service because God is watching you. If you don't like the industry you are in, find another. Life is too short to be unhappy. And it's not fair to those who you inflict that negatively upon. It takes far more effort and energy to be negative...
Read moreI’ve never had an issue with dominos until last night. I understand it was a holiday and things get busy, but the way we were treated should NEVER happen. I’ve worked in customer service and food for many years. I understand that it gets stressful and mistakes happen. We called and ordered our pizza at 11:20pm. They told us it would be an hour at most due to it being New Year’s Eve. We waited an hour and still nothing. We were even prepared to give the driver a $20 tip at least for having to work. We called the store and they put my friend on hold while they figured out what happened. 20 min later I decided to call because she was still on hold. I spoke to a guy and he asked the address and put me on hold. I was on hold for 20 min and my friend for 40 min. At this point we got in the car and drove to the store. We pulled up and they had shut down the store and left. They put us both on hold and left the store. This is no way to treat people. If they would have explained that our order was cancelled and there was a mistake we would have been fine. They ended up refunding us and explaining what happened this morning, but this was inexcusable. Working in food service is hard. I get that there are angry customers and sometimes you really don’t want to hear it. It’s still your job and we are still people that wasted our time when we could have just been given an...
Read moreUnfortunately I have been burned by dominos. I ordered at 122 and didn’t hear a thing from dominos until I left a service review at 222. Dominos just left my pizza on the GROUND OUTSIDE. I asked for it to be left at my door because normally they ring the bell and then place it outside my door (apartment). Some guy named Richard called me pretending to be the manager and just said hey give a call if you have another problem. I called the store back asking for Richard and dawn answered saying there’s no Richard at this store but I’m the manager. Dawn says she rang (which I have a loud buzzer I checked outside at 215 for my order before submitting a review and it wasn’t there) and then just left it outside. I always get a call from dominos when they don’t know what buzzer or if they can’t find my apartment so why didn’t I get a call today? I asked for a refund and dawn said no. The pizza wasn’t even delivered on time that alone warrants a refund. She hung up. I won’t be ordering from here for awhile. I don’t know if they changed management or what but they haven’t been giving good service...
