HORROR SHOW! My family and I have never been to a Sonic. So we were really excited to try a Drive-In restaurant experience. I ordered online, we had 4 varied combos each with either a slushy, lemonade or shake. The online order experience for the huge variety was awesome, the order process went without a hitch. I set a pickup time of 845pm and we made our way to the Sonic from our hotel and arrived on time. The online Sonic page on my phone sensed we had arrived and asked which stall we were in? I punched in #7 and we parked, and my name and order came up on the stall screen and indicated it was on its way and that someone would bring it out shortly. It all seemed to go according to plan. We were very excited and quite impressed with the order and pickup experience and the technology.
20 minutes passed and there was nothing. In fact I noticed I had not seen a person come out to a single car in the time we were there. The only service that seemed to be functioning was the drive thru. I saw cars come and park in the stalls next to us, and then about 5 minutes later back out and leave, without anyone from the restaurant coming out to the car? The red light on their order screen would still be flashing. No one answered when the red light button was pressed. I pressed my red button and it just flashed and went unanswered for at least 15 minutes. Not a single acknowledgement on the speaker or anyone coming out to our car. I walked up to the restaurant door, but it was locked. People inside but no way to speak to them. It was now 930pm, and I was fuming mad. How can Sonic stay in business with such a pathetic service model? I finally stood at the drive thru window, excused myself to the driver waiting for their order and informed the person inside about my situation.
What seemed like the manager, just made excuses, and said they were doing their best and that I should always use the drive thru as it works best! It was a ridiculous statement to make. I showed my online order and informed them I did see my name and order come up at stall #7 but she insisted it said stall #2.
I'm not sure why it said stall #2? I can only state I punched in #7 and did see my name and order pop up on the screen.
Food finally came to our car at 10pm. Our mood had soured by then and we just couldn't wait to get outta there. Hungry, disappointed and mad.
Frankly I just wanted my money back. We've been to so many restaurants in our travels, but I cannot recall such a lousy experience as the one we had at Sonic.
If Sonic corporate is reading this, I implore them to intervene operationally as this location is in trouble. The brand damage and poor goodwill resulting from this location must be massive.

Try your shakes before you leave. They will not refund you money if they are disgusting.
I went to the location and got 2 strawberry cheesecake, a cookie dough, and a chocolate shake. Drove all the way home and my family were disgusted by the taste of these shakes. Entirely too sweet. Sweet to the point of an almost spoiled taste. I called to inform the location About the issue and to possibly receive my money back. I was met with confusion. Multiple employees passing the phone back and forth all claiming to be a manager and to have made the shake themselves. Each stated, “ I was wrong and that there is nothing wrong with these shakes.” The last employee I spoke to, I informed her that I have had these same shakes made at a different SONIC location and they did not taste like this. These shakes were basically “liquid diabetes” with a cherry on top.
She informed me that because the order was made “correctly” I could not get a refund and should order lite sweetener next time!
So no money, DEFINITELY no shake! Feel like I paid them to poison me. But hopefully this review saves a couple bucks and INSULIN shots for future patrons.

Read moreI have a good experience it's about 7:45 pm and the girl that brought me my food i order I'm number 11 with two extra side of sauce Honey BBQ and Buffalo and then after I ate I ordered Oreo and cake milkshake. the service was a 10 out of 10. the chicken strips tater tots onion rings everything was good and was fresh. however I got the milkshake and the candy was too grinded up where it was like specs of the Oreo and cake and did not look like the picture. it was still good picture. I am going to upload the pictures if possible but I think that they should at least garnish the top of the milkshake on the whipped cream with the way it looks in the picture and it could be a little bit more chunkier pieces of candy in the milkshake and I understand the big pieces don't suck up in the straw but we can still use a spoon or address the issue to corporate and get larger straws. I know it's a petty complaint but I don't consider it a complaint because I'm not dissatisfied except I do like bigger pieces of candy and the picture is misleading so I thought I would bring it to the attention of the establishment so they can review what is misleading on the...
