Riley was our server and was wonderful. I let her know I was celebrating my birthday and she made it feel special by chatting with us about what we did.

I visited the sushi place with a friend, and it was a fantastic experience! I tried the California roll and a spicy crab roll, and both were incredibly delicious. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, with high-quality ingredients that truly stood out. The spicy crab roll had just the right amount of heat, making it a perfect complement to the classic California roll.

Food: I ordered a nigiri set along with some raw and cooked rolls. Unfortunately, the nigiri pieces were poorly presented, and the raw fish neither looked nor tasted fresh. The sushi rice was also overcooked, which affected the overall flavor and texture.

Service: There was only one waitress handling the entire front of house, so the wait to be served was quite long. However, she was friendly and did her best under the circumstances.

Ordered a fairly large pickup order tonight. We were mostly happy with what we ordered.

What wasn't fantastic was the rice for their sushi. Whilst it was cooked perfectly and had a great texture, it tasted completely unseasoned. No slightly vinegared, slightly sweet, slightly salty, kombu-infused taste, characteristic of sushi rice. I want to think it was just regular sushi rice, cooked in water, and rolled.

Getting that right takes mediocre sushi to great. I know this place is newer, and if they can get their rice right, they have a shot at being...
