Read moreI want to preface that I chose this spot for pickup due to all the positive reviews as well as having a craving for a good shawarma sandwich. Upon arrival, there was no available parking in the lot due to several customers eating in their cars; therefore, I parked in the street. As I walked inside the establishment, there were three men waiting, who had already ordered, and a few empty stools. I went up to the cashier, ordered my items, chicken shawarma sandwich, a small babaganoush, and an individual meat pie and waited for my meal. During that time, the three men had been given their orders as well as other men who arrived after me, even those that had not ordered ahead. After 20 minutes, and being the only customer left, they gave me my order and rang me up. All three items came up to $26, much more than the prices listed on the menus in the restaurant. I believe they gave me a large babaganoush, not a small. Due to already not feeling very welcomed, I decided to leave it alone. Opinion of my meal: The shawarma sandwich was okay only, pretty dry as it was missing the radish and pickles and needed some garlic sauce. But it was plentiful. The babaganoush was tasty and nicely presented with a sprinkle of Arabic salad and spices, but super spicy. I think they added jalapeños.The meat pie was a disappointment as it was cold, definitely prepared hours earlier. I would have liked to order some tabbouleh, but it was not offered. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be...
Read moreThe pita they use is fresh and delicious and they have really good shawarma and falafel. That being said, this is a tiny tiny location where it gets really cramped if it's even slightly busy. It was really busy when I went in which is when I realized you should phone your order ahead of time, like almost everyone else was doing. During my visit, there was one man handling the register, one cook, and what looked like the manager going in between both helping prep. I ordered the combination/chicken & meat sandwich. My girlfriend ordered the chicken shawarma entree. I think the guy at the register didn't understand the word "entree" as he asked the manager in Arabic something about that word before finishing ringing it up. It took a good while for our food to be ready since, as I mentioned, it was busy and a bunch of people ordered ahead. When we finally got our food, we went to our car to eat and I realized they didn't give us the 2 pita that came with the plate and they confused the meat as my girlfriend got the combination in her meat and I got the chicken shawarma in my sandwich. We were too hungry by then to get it fixed so we just ate it. Good food but the service...
