West 79 Sports Bar — Restaurant in Stickney Township

Came here and had a 5 piece wing and fries which was priced at 12.99 on the menu. Got my bill and I was actually charged 13.99 because apparently the menu wasn’t correct then I was charged an extra 1 for the ranch. Like who sells wings and charge you for the dipping sauce smh. When I asked the bartender about the price difference her only response was “I don’t make the prices” it’s not even about the extra unnecessary 2 dollars it’s about the customer service. I visited this bar last night and it was a good experience for the most part. I wasn’t too fond of the wings which I replaced for the buffalo tenders and they were pretty delicious. There were three younger lady bartenders working and one older lady. The younger bartenders were extremely pleasant. However, the older lady didn’t even acknowledge me when I sat down, only serviced the men surrounding me and even gave me a discomforting look at one point. Been here three times. Didn’t eat the food, only fried foods, could use more options, healthier options. Staff are friendly, very clean and well updated place. Got a ribboned off VIP area too LMAO !! Prices are slightly above the norm for the area. Patrons are friendly, but like any bar you visit there are always one or some toxic people polluting the good vibe and environment. Ignore and keep your distance from such people. Don’t let them streak you peace or mess you good energy up because of there own misery...
