Picked up a sandwich for the first time from here today, I was craving a Philly and there are not many places in this town that even offers a semblance of one... At least thats how I felt until today. I decided to try Jersey Mike's as it was the only place I hadn't tried one at in town. Being my first time and not knowing what to expect I only tipped 10%, now I wish I had tipped more and will the next time I go in. I should have taken a pic of the sandwich but I honestly didn't think about it at the time. It was THAT good. Comparable to places I was familiar with when I lived in Tulsa, this sandwich was filling, evenly balanced between the meat, cheese, pepper, onion ratio, and I loved that they used both red and green bell peppers. I was expecting the usual precooked meat just heated like at other places in town but they actually cooked it all on the grill and that completely made the sandwich. A real cheesesteak, at a chain. I watched them make other sandwiches as I waited for mine and I am definitely going to return the next time I want a sandwich. The bread was really good, not as chewy as Jimmy Johns (although I do love their bread as well) and better in flavor than Subway. It was good, I look forward to trying other bread options here. It was well balanced and didn't overpower the overall sandwhich with too much bread, or wash out with too little bread. The meat was perfect for me, not too salty, which is a common issue for me as I'm not big on salt. The veggies were awesome, al dente (not overcooked or undercooked), next time I will try it with...
Read moreWent in to get a quick dinner, and the man "Tim" acted like he didn't want to do his job. Asked for a Philly steak with provolone and ketchup. He says we don't carry ketchup, I said actually you do.. it's over there to the right underneath. He rolled his eyes.. wrote out what i wanted for the cook, and then when the cook asked about it, he rolled his eyes and said oh they want ketchup. Then, he was rude the rest of time while making the sandwiches. He was in too much of a hurry (btw we were the ONLY people in there) to want to make the other two sandwiches properly. Instead, he brushed us off rudely to his co-worker and went out back to sit by their door and smoked. He was very unprofessional and definitely is not happy at his Jersey Mike's job. Their lady manager is the best, but unfortunately, with the experience I received, I'm gonna step back from going. I am aware others will go, but I didn't pay $30 for a cold, dry sub because they were too much in a hurry to wanna do sauces. Didn't even get our chips or drinks due to the way he...
Read moreNever write reviews, but this Jersey mikes location is not only the best sandwich in Stillwater, but also the best Jersey mikes I’ve ever been to. The service is incredible and they make sure to accommodate all requests, my girlfriend has celiac disease and there is never a worry that the gluten free sandwich will be contaminated. Any time there has been even a small error with a sandwich the entire meal is replaced free of charge. The owner is constantly working on the line and obviously cares about the quality of his product. Support this restaurant and...
